This sounds like a ridiculous accusation

As Oliver Hardy would say, "It certainly does!"

I wouldnt put it past anyone, but I doubt it.  I cant see BB doing that.

What the wildcard game showed me was what this team has shown all year.....

Inconsistency, lack of offensive execution and lack of talent.

A bit surprised that this topic has resurrected itself as a new thread with the first post from the old thread copied and pasted as the first post to this thread.

Somebody new wants to stir the pot, and it is not me.

Also surprising is that we have pats fans suggesting a) that it is possible and b) the team was better off doing so.

And people here trashed the colts. (shaking head in disbelief)

The NFL is just like the rest of life. Your well-planned "future" is about as solid as the next injury or some anonymous alcoholic on the loose on your favorite highway.

There were only 2 people in on that. Brady and BB.

66 - I know you are talking about the Ravens, but you seem to be comparing them and the Jets as similar teams.  The issue is that the Jets did have an early lead against the colts and they still lost.

Re: I believe Patriots may have tanked their playoff game.

66 - I guess if you want to believe the colts jets game was rigged, that would be fine, but then you wouldn't have used them in your comparison.

So, either you don't believe the game was rigged or you just don't know what you are talking about.  And, if you believe the game was rigged, well you just don't know what you are talking about.

I guess I will have to decide for myself which one is correct.

Do YOU REALLY believe the Pats were going to come of out Indy with a win if they punted the ball?

    No - I am a colts fan.

The Pats had a better shot of making the 4th and 2, then punting  and letting Indy march right back down the field. Sad, but true.
The Pats got distroyed by the Ravens at home and the only tank(s) in that game was the Ravens OLine and DLine Sad, but true.

Re: I believe Patriots may have tanked their playoff game.

They sure played like it. But then Mayo and Guyton couldn't get off their blocks, and 60% of the oline was probably playing hurt. Problem going forward is that Pats will be playing a first place schedule next year. With Welker out and Moss and Faulk a year older, BB as gm will have his hands full.  Finally, good luck signing free agents since due to the uncapped year there'll be hundreds less.
