If the Jets Lose Tomorrow - Their Season Was A Complete Disaster.

After all the hype from being one game away from the superbowl and Hard Knocks, getting knocked out in the first round will be a disaster.  Jets have all the pressure on them this game, the Colts were the team many felt wouldn't make the playoffs with the Texans, Jaguars, and Titans all seemed like division contenders early in the season.

This was probably the Jets best chance to win this season, considering veteran additions LT and Jason Taylor were busts, they'll have to make a decision on whether to keep Braylon Edwards or Santonio Holmes.  And they have as many high priced players on this roster as anyone.  Plus the Patriots are a young team that will probably be even better next season, good luck Jets.

Note to all NE Patriot Fans. Stop using the argument that this team is totally different from the team that choke in 2007. Brady was having a better year in 2007 and they still lost. The NE D is young and will show it's true colors next weekend as the Jets will have their payback and send the NE fans home suffering another tragic loss to a NY team. The fact that everyone in the media is saying "we would rather play the Jets" is just silly. They may be a 6 seed but playing a division rival adds an extra element and the Jets are coming for payback. Jets toll tonight and end the Patsies season next week.

LT's a bust? Really? Making the playoffs is a total disaster? (Not making the Playoffs could be considered a disappointment, like the Yanks and Pats in '08 and RS in '09.) Are you drinking Patriots flavored Kool-Aid again?

Oh dear - talk about clutching at straws!

Our offense is as good as it was in 2007, playing 7 of the top 9 defenses along the way and going 6-1 against them; our defense only conceded 9 more points  than the Jets all season and have vastly improved as the season has gone on. Meanwhile, the Jesters have only beaten TWO teams with a winning record all season - what makes you think that anybody is scared to play you?

At the end of the day, your argument is moot seeing as you won't get past the Colts tonight. One and done...

I consider this offense to be better than 07. Back then it was Moss deep or Welker over the middle. This year they have multiple targets, and a solid (if not excellent) running game. So what if the numbers are down a bit? In 07 the offense peaked in October, and declined from that point. This season they exploded halfway through the season and are getting better as they go.

The NE D is young and will show it's true colors next weekend as the Jets will have their payback and send the NE fans home suffering another tragic loss to a NY team

The reason they lost SB42 is because the defense failed to stop the Giants from driving the ball into the end zone. As many (especially Jests trolls) pointed out, that defense was long in the tooth. These guys have come together quite well this season. They are young and they're fast. Just the number of takeaways shows they are opportunistic. And they are hungry. Your claim of a Jests win in Foxboro next weekend is merely your favorite wet dream (other than the one where Sanchez visits you in your room...wearing his prettiest dress)! They will not beat the Colts. Ryan's teams could only do that when Painter starts. But if they did somehow pull out a miracle (Tony Soprano makes Irsay an "offer he can't refuse"), they would be crushed again at the Razor! We'll all be waiting to see the headlines in NY tomorrow! Of course, when they lose we won't see any of you Jests trolls around here for a long, long time!

Typical Jest fan. Yeah, LT IS a bust. He started off strong and then, as many here suspected, he tailed off tremendously as the year wore on. I don't have his second half stats, but I know they dropped dramatically and in fact most Jest fans readily agree, if what I've seen on their forums is any indication. Your saying he isn't a bust doesn't make it so. And, YES, it is a failure that after all the fan bluster and your coach's bluster before the season all you've been able to do is squeak in as the 6th seed. True, you could still correct that, I don't see that happening, but anything short of the AFC championship game is a step back from last year, when you were all touting how this was your year. To say otherwise is just being disingenuous, but typical of the backpedaling going on for the Jest fans. Sort of like after the epic beatdown the Pats gave you on our last meeting. C'mon, we all know who's really been drinking the Kool-Aid, don't we?

Good, another weak-*** Jest fan. There was no choke in 2007 ... we lost a game, plain and simple. Sure it was important, but no other team in history has won 18 games in the course of an NFL season. You guys are thrilled, apparently, to have won 11 games this year, something that would make most Pat fans yawn at. LOL, you'll be nowhere to be found when your team is inevitably knocked out of the playoffs this year. You'll just have to cry alone in your mommy's basement. What user name did you have earlier this year before your last game against us? What a tool.

The Jets fans are just like their coach and players, they can't stop thinking about the thorough azz kicking the Pat's put on them. They can't even get it of their heads long enough to focus on their opponent at hand.

That's exacactly why they will lose tonight!

Oh, I would like the jests to beat the horsehead led dolts, so that the jests can comeback and get another beatdown like they got on MNF. I bet ESPN was looking for another competitive game to switch to that night. LOL, oh shoot there weren'y any, so the whole country got to see what a 6th seed team looks like that has a loud mouth coach and tutti frutti QB.

Funny replies by all. Take a look at your D Line now without Mike Wright, Brace etc. Outside of Wilfork they got a bunch of castoffs from the UFL. That only lasts so long. Any team with good running- JETS,Ravens,KC,PITT is gonna tear up that D, plus you have no pass rush. I love the arrogance of Pat fans, so spoiled after 3 titles.  Lets see what your excuse is when they lose the the JETS next week. I can already see it- Brady had too much time off, we turned the ball over 3 times and that was fluke, the D is young and will only get better but playoff football was too much, the refs screwed us.....

    2010 NE Pats 14-2

    Round 1- BYE
    Divisonal Round- BUH-BYE

Pioneer (or should we call you Rex?),

    See the dot?

    It's blue.

Repeating over and over again that it is red does not change the fact that it is blue.

    Have a nice day.

Your season is over in roughly  13 hours.

    Cool

If they do lose they could be in real trouble.  They mortgaged off their future to win now.  They had very few picks in a deep draft this year and have lots of contracts expiring next year.  Plus if the cap comes back...

Please pipe down, front running bandwagoner.

Don't play dumb. The Jets coined themselves SB favorites last April. If they go one and done, yes, it will be a flat out embarassment and disaster.

As if losing 3/5 down the stretch, barely eeking by the Browns, Lions and Texans impresses any football fan who actually watches them play?

And yes, LT has floundered late in the season as the weather got colder, as predicted.

You and Adam Sandler should get together in Manchester with your Yankee and other NY bandwagon garb on and spoon together.

    Just pathetic.

WHEN the jets lose tonight their season will be a disaster because of their own 6 months of bluster. It's funny to see the excuses ( pioneer is probably a leon name ) start to pop up. 'we made the playoffs'. Yeah but you claimed the Lombardi Trophy starting in training camp. If you're going to run your mouths you better be able to take being crapped on when you don't back it up like the tough guys you claim to be.

As per your virulent partisan tendencies, this posturing smack has resulted in confusing the issues by dragging in largely out of context talking points.

    1) The hardcore stuff and trash talk by the JESTS actually is sickening, but has practically nothing to do with the comments above; your linkage is ridiculous.

    2) LT fell off in the 2nd half, but no one expected him to play this well, even for an entire season. If he played at or worse than he did in '09, and if that level of play would have resulted in no playoff berth, then it would have been a bust. Here's guessing you like saying Bust for Bust-sake; perhaps looking at some cleavage may help distract you.

    3) What does the PATS slaughter have to do with any of this, outside of an unrelated Zinger? Their season is to be commended, especially that spectacular unprecedented duo of BB & Brady. However, the association you're alluding to would be akin to someone saying "Well, one of the Pats 2 losses this year was to a NY team, which they've shown the last few years to have trouble beating; like in the 2008 SB".  Juvenile.

No, pathetic is the feeling the need to respond to every dialogue; hopefully for your sake you have an automated method for this. Also, I don't care what the Jets coined themselves; I have my opinion; they were never going to the promised land, and were always undeservedly full of themselves. I was responding to the poster, which, not surprisingly, resulted in some incoherent partisan fodder from a not-so random direction. Flak is flak, of course. As far as your put downs are concerned, outside of amusing yourself, I'm not sure what your point is, except I can see you have had lots of practice.
