    Interesting Defensive Stats..

We have 2 players in the top 5 (league wide) on defense and on offense..

    Defense:
Kyle Arrington leads the league in interceptions with 5
Andre Carter is #5 on the sacks list

    Offense:
Brady is #2 on the passing yards list
Wes is #1 on the receiving yards list

you said defensive stats in the o/p and then mentioned offensive stats as well.

you decieved me, as I didnt want to look at offensive stats.  j/k...lol

NO surprises there except for Carter. I cant remember the last time we had a player in the top 5 in sacks.

And dont look now, but guess who has less sacks than Carter?  Thats right, the immortal Clay Matthew is struggling this year with only 3 and half sacks.

Why cant we get guys like that...waaaaaaahh

Actually a player I liked and hoped we got late in Desmond Bishop is leading the Pack in sacks.

Best since Colvin charging in from the left and Vrabel from the right ... ah, a gurl can dream.

[QUOTE]I think I recall TBC being the last awesome defensive sackmaster from the patsies when he had 10 sacks in 2009 - half of them against Buffalo.  Carter is a nice player and he just had the best game of his career by a very long shot.  The law of averages now takes over, not every QB is going to hold on to the ball like Sanchez kept doing.

As long as the LB's and secondary cover as they did, then we'll be seeing more sacks.

You're probably right since no other NFL QB is as dumb as Sanchez is.

If you dial back a few years and reflect on his intensity of play
when he was a special teamer, I think you gain some measure
of what the Pats thought they had in the up and coming category...

The Hooded One tells him to concentrate on ball-skills at the end of last year
and he comes back with a hawking mentality to go with his hitting prowess...

Given the work ethic you just gotta figure this kid will only get better too.
