No fing way dude! We can argue and debate till the championship game but in the end we will see then. Alabama will blow them out. The only common opponent was Michigan and Bama won that one but it doesn't mean that much. The top 5 SEC teams would blow out ND..

The national championship was just played.  The Irish game is a technicality.

By the time the title game is played, ND will have been idle for over six weeks. Alabama, for over five weeks

Great system they have in place to determine the champion of college football, huh?

Game time, both teams will be physically and mentally peaking, I'm sure...

The SEC is bay far the best confernce in the country.  ND while the number 1 in country is not better than Bama, UGA would be a toss up. This is the primary flaw with the soon to be changing BCS. With that said I don't think ND shouldn't be in the NCG but Bama is just better.

 ND is a great story, they play hard and have found ways to win every week. They play their best games against the better teams and it would be nice to see them win.

That said I would be shocked if they beat Alabama. IMO the SEC is the best conference by a wide margin. Like I said earlier Im picking Alabama to win big, not because I like them more but because they are better.

Wow really going out on a limb here with this one. 

I won't be impressed unless you report back you have wagered serious funds on the outcome. 

Otherwise I could easily say Alabama will win and no one will be impressed either way

I want some of what your on dude,(maybe it's the toxic air in the NY area),--NO WAY does ND win--heck they don't even belong in the Championship---here's a list of teams that would beat them-------K State, Florida, Texas A M, Oregon, Stanford,LSU -----I think you're getting the idea?  BTW this would be a GREAT year for a PLAYOFF format  with all the parity amongst 12 or so teams.

"Bama will blow out ND", yet ND hasn't allowed anyone to really score on them this season... so Bama's O is ND's Kryptonite?  I fully expect a relatively low scoring, defensive battle.

ND has the speed/size/physicality to play with any team in the country and have a good chance to win that football game.

Not sure you can call it arrogance when the SEC has won the last 6 championships, with 4 different schools.

That said, ND's defense will keep it close.  I say Bama 20-17.

Before watching UGA Bama last night I expected Bama to cruise to the NC (I was thinking along the lines of the ND-LSU Sugar Bowl a few years back) but now I feel a little bit more confident about ND's chances. I still think that Bama will win a closer game than many expect.
