Is our offense too white?

1 of 11 offensive starters is black (2 of 11 when Ridley starts).
I don't mean to stereotype or appear ignorant, but the background of white and black NFL players are often very different.
A good portion of African American players come from dis-advantaged neighborhoods and broken families and lead a much harder life growing up. You have no choice but be a tough SOB.
When I watch the Pats Offense in big games, they seem to get intimidated rather easily.

Pound for pound Welker might be the toughest player on the team.

I think this is definetly a shortcoming, we should have more Samoans. Those guys are tough!

No such thing as too white, the offense is too short and not very strong or fast.
Race has nothing to do with athleticism, strength, speed or intellect and that's what the Pats usually look for.

Black, white... I don't care. It is a tad slow. I am not talking about the tempo. I am talking about the players' top speed. I still can't believe WW did not get to the end zone on that long reception.

Can you imagine someone starting a thread "is our defense too black?"
How long would the Globe allow that?

These are the kinds of dumb threads that give morons like Jamie Dukes a reason for having a job.
I can't even believe people actually contemplate this stuff in this day and age.

We need to scout some aliens and be the first team to have them on an active roster. I like camels too. They do not command too much water and have great size and length; however, they do not have much speed.

no. you forget about Bradon lloyd, Deion Brancg, Bolden, Ridley, Vereen.
You cares. it's not color we need but a better o-line to protect TB, and some bigger faster vertical WRS.
the only color i care about is red, white and blue, the patriots color

I'm just stating the facts, not passing judgement.
Is there a statistical correlation between the Pats having the whitest/(or middle class background) offense in the league, and not having enough toughness/speed on offense?
