Is this game a WAKE UP CALL??

Regardless of the final outcome of this season opener, what did we see?
The Pats O couldn't finish drives, failed to gain less than 2 yards TOTAL on 2 4th down attempts, with THAT offense? LOT's of dropped passes! Maroney can't seem to get it going and where is Taylor? The first quarter seemed to set the tone.
The D... where is the tackling? Did anyone see a hard hit tonite? We hear about "bend and don't break".. well, why bend for 3 quarters and then when a stop is needed they bend all the way to the end zone? This is against a Bill's offense that supposedly is in disarray. What happens when they face a real tough offense?
Don't say anything about the penalties in this game, only two plays and the Pats could have still stopped the Bills.
Lastly, we can continue to have the thought you don't need to win the first game of the season to win the SB. -

No--- Its not a wake up call--- it's the first game of the season and a victory. They will benefit more from this being the game it was, versus if they had a blow-out victory. -

Just looked like a "rusty" team to me. Especially Brady. The offense will only get better from here.
I'll be very concerned about the "D" if Mayo goes out for awhile. And, it does seem as if Richard Seymour might have come in handy in this game, too. Need a better pass rush than this, for sure.
