Is Underwood back to replace Edelman?

What are the chances that Underwood returns so punts or kickoffs and the Pats cut Edelman?  Anyone laying odds on this?

Seems likely.  I was thinking the same thing.

He can't be worse than Edleman has been this year, either as returner or WR.  As long as he keeps his hands to himself, the job could be his for the taking.

I'd like to see Shane Vereen get a shot on kick returns...he is just warming the bench, why not see what he can do?

I know - kids come on this message board and make silly, not nowing what they are talking about posts.  BTW, where is your avatar?  Do you need an adult to give you instructions how do post one?

That for the Job and he is here for.  Edelman will see his door wayout due to his unprofessional character scandal that not accepted by the Kraft Family.

Yes and Yes. Underwood is an upgrade over Woodhead / Slater for KRs. I don't know if he has any experience in PRs, but he can't be worse then Edelman at this stage.
As someone said, and I said on another post, Vereen should be put in to field PRs instead of Edelman. Its time we see what he can do, and he must be itching to play.
I don't know what this means for Price. It will depend on if Underwood is going to be used in the receiving game. If so, I'm afraid Price may be IR'd for the year. It depends on how bad is hammy issue is. Its been lingering for a while now.

    Seriously folks

If they cut Edelman and (God forbid) Welker goes down. My question to you all is, Who plays slot?

Re: Is Underwood back to replace Edelman?

I think Underwood was brought in to improve the special teams.  Edelman and Slater have both fumbled.  They need to get better returns so that Brady is not always throwing out of the endzone.
