In response to NedNiederlander's comment:

We could be the Steelers and be ready to miss the postseason for the second year in a row like the Giants, who are also in a cap hell on the verge of that as well.

Center, Maurkice Pouncey, done for the year with a torn ACL and MCL and veteran cog at LB, Larry Foote, with a ruptured bicep.

Oh, they also dropped their home opener to Tenn by only getting 1 TD.

Sure looks like the cap hell teams I warned about are seeing some serious issues due to some questionable drafts, poor salary allocation and little to no internal pipeline of developed players.

With all due respect....We have enough of our own problems for me to devote a second to another teams issues. I say clean your own house before breaking out the white glove in another's.

And yet the Giants would do it all again considering their 2 SB wins in the last 5 years.

Bingo! Thats the point of differentiation on this board with most of us posters. Some of us want a SB win as often as possible. If that means a 8-10 win season and missing the playoffs every now and then, so be it. The NFL is one winner and 31 losers. Others here, are more interested in winning AFC East titles, winning the salary cap race and stockpiling future draft choices.

Right, or the Steelers that also have multiple rings over us this decade. I doubt they feel bad about their choices.

The Giants also looked about five times better than we did yesterday, just playing a tougher opponent than we were and stuck in a tougher conference than us.

The fans can't control Brady crapping his pants in 2 SBs, though. That's what we call bingo!

Next thing you know, you'll tell us we should miss the playoffs two years in a row to be like the Giants or Steelers.
Watching you did your idiot hole deeper is painful.  How many years later and still blaming Brady for Eli's 100+ rating.  What a tool.  Get over it, Queenie.
He has no 100+ rating if:

    1. No Safety taken.

    2. No INT on 1st down into Giants territory in the 4th.

    3. High throw/Welker drop.

Pretty simple.  NE's D held to 13 points. It was only because of these plays where our supposed great QB melted down and underperformed, helping us lose the game.

If BB missed the playoffs last year or any year with Brady as the QB going 8-8 or 9-7, this board would implode.

Steelers lost to Tebow and then missed the playoffs.

Turth hurts.  Both Tomlin and Coughlin on the hotseat according to many reports.
I don't think they are in trouble from here

Giants said before season coughing is here as long as he wawant sandpits do not chane coaches

Both have won SBs  Steinbrenner is not the owner lol

Belichick's way has put the Patriots in the hunt most every year. 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, all those teams were good enough to win the super bowl. It was bad bounces and just a couple of plays a game that stopped them, not a lack of talent.

Every team is trying to win the super bowl. The Giants and Steelers were far from dominant and extremely fortunate. Many more teams "go all in" and fail. The "going for broke" method does not guarantee a super bowl.

The Giants are hideous this year and so are the Steelers...go be their fan if you hate the Pats so much...and it's not a situation where it's support the team no matter what, it's a situation where someone who claims to be a true fan dons the cape of "objectivity" when all it is, in reality, is a chance to TRY to sound smarter about football than they really are....your platiutudes are rediculous...you rarely add new insights or meaningful analysis...you take cheap shots that follow popular trends....so disgusting and trivial...troll spanker my butt....just a troll wanna be...

    Enjoy......
