    It was Lemon!

According to reports, QB Cleo Lemon was at foxboro on Friday, not Vick.  Lemon started a few games for the Phins and I remember he was pretty decent as a backup.

Professor Gates tells me that in New England, all black people look alike. Therefore, mistaking Vick for Cleo Lemon is perfectly understandable.

Now that Lemon has been signed, its' even more doubtful that Michael Vick will land in Foxboro.

The halves of football I witnessed in San Diego from Mr. Lemon were less than superb. A little off the mark at times. O'connell must be lacking somewhat in the eyes of BB. O'connell lacks in my eyes too. Lemon is not a worthy backup either. If Brady goes down sub 500 IMO. I dont think Brady will go down though, lucky for all of you.

I see we have a few bags trying hard to turn this thread into a political debate........anyway.

I think Lemon would make a perfect backup as long as his tenure with the team involves watching the games from the sidelines.

Have to love the comments on some of these articles! One guy calling himself "sixburgh" suggested that Brady was no "choirboy" for breaking up with Bridget when she was pregnant! Had to tell him that he surely wasn't as much of a saint as a QB who rapes a girl in a casino! As for Walter, he'll basically make his pay in practice. After using a third round pick on O'Connell, I'd think he would still have the #2 spot. Hopefully none of these guys will see the field this season. Unless they are up by 5 TDs in the 4th quarter!
