It's about the RINGS, isn't it?

Frustrated by a long drought of no SB wins after three in 4 years is bound to frustrate anyone, especially the fans of the team that accomplished such a feat.  But, to a player who feels winning is the most successful measure of a player and their team's success, that is why TB reworked his contract.  A QB is only as good as his team around him and Brady wants the team to have the leverage to do just that!  Name ANY NFL player who puts his team and its chances to be in the dance year in and year out above their desire to "get paid".  I wonder, would Pay-me-a-TON Manning give back his millions if he could get another ring or two?  Doesn't appear he has.  Look at his brother, Eli.  If not for the defense that his Giants played in the two SBs they won, he may be without rings.

It's about the rings, isn't it? And TB wants one for the pinky and one for the thumb!!

The NFL should mandate that a cape be sewed onto the back of Brady's uniform and all players wear a #12 patch on their uniforms for the entire 2013 season.

Used to be. No idea what happend to Brady, but maybe he realized after his 2010 deal and subsequent poor postseason showings that maybe, just maybe, what he gets off on is winning a SB.

You wouldn't know it in his more recent postseasons.

Christ, the fans have wanted it more than he has in recent years. Say what you want, but he acted above the team since 2007 and maybe this his way of realizing he made a mistake.

Let's not act like Brady wasn't mirroring Gomer these last 5 years or so after the stats run in 2007. It was like an addiction.

This is a sign he's realized it's not all about stats and what he does in the shotgun. We'll see. Refreshing first step in the offseason.

Why can't you JUST ACCEPT what Brady did is for the good of the team and leave it at that.  Man, you are so fixated on pounding on Brady at all times.

Debatable. His postseason work has been nowhere near MPV level. Nowhere near.  I'd argue Vince has been left out to dry by our horrendous offense and the downturn they've show under Brady's leadership in the postseason in recent years.

    MOST VALUABLE PATRIOT!  Not debatable!!!!!

I complimented him up and down earlier today, dude. You missed the threads from yesterday and earlier where there was concern Brady wsn't getting it with a 22 mil cap hit this year before the cap ceiling goes up in 2015.

Where I didn't like his behavior was when he was whining for that new big time deal in 2010, got it, and then underperformed after that, pouting and not taking accountability.

This was an opportunity to just say something quick and leave.  You didn't.

while ur gushing and nominating brady for sainthood lets just throw in the casual fact that he has made probably a couple hundred million already and his wife-remember her?-is worth about 5 times that

oh and on ur bs eli point u never give up on, if not for the d and adam vinitieri how many rings does brady have? what, terry bradshaw and troy aikman and bart starr weren't helped out by their defense? hell even kurt warner and his scoring machine needed a great defensive play to win the sb

u really are smarter than a lot of the nonsense u seem to type ags
