I had him converting to the "sam" linebacker for us, ironic with the Hightower signing, but this is another solid linebacker pick.Great shuttle, average to poor forty but big. -

I could see that useless 2/4/5 defense working if Jones and Bequette are real gamers on the edge... interesting. -

we might be switching to a 4-4...we sure have enough OLB/DE to do so, and we are still weak at safety...give the QB 2 seconds to throw and then have him on his back...who knows. It might work. Weakness becomes team strength. -

Bring Bequette up to 290 and Jones to 290 in 2 years and you have two very good ends, or leave one at 275 and the other bulks up to 290 and that's a DE LB combo to be scared of -

Posted by PatsEngAt that size we're running a 4/3, more likely they stay lean and learn how to drop into coverage 10% of the time. As long as they get to the QB I don't care how much they weigh or what position they play. -

I was like 13 when the Deep came out and that scene was like pure erotica. Still have that image burned in my gray matter -

Posted by wozzyWell 290 with power is a good size for a 5 tech. Bequette has the frame to add the extra 15lbs so I can see him bulking up and becoming a 5 tech that can also be a heavy 43 DE. Jones I think will remain in the 270 range as BB's elephant -

I remember reports from last year that claimed Cunningham was beefing up. It will be interesting to see what he weighs coming into camp. -

Posted by PatsEngI think Bequette will stay where he's at weight wise and play outside linebacker/rush end in the 2/4/5 and inside Sam possibly if my projections pan out. He had good shuttles and made a lot of tackles for an end, we'll see... either way we just got a lot deeper at linebacker.
