saw it on bleacher report. he seems pretty serious about a return. sorry no link. i dont want him here but thought it was interesting. maybe the jets would go for it. he isnt that old and had so much potential and would probably come cheap.

Just a quick story about Jamarcus russel.
I attended an Oakland Raiders Youth football camp the year Jamarcus Russel was drafted. These camps require the top signed rookies and other players attend. Well Russel had not signed his contract yet but he still showed up. Wouldn't sign autographs due to not being under contract, LOL! Anyways... he did end up participating one day at the camp. The guy was a giant! He spent about one hour throwing passes, man he could throw that ball a mile! The dude had an arm like I had never seen before. His passes were to strong for some of the younger kids so he tried to take some steam off his passes, yet they were still to strong so he started throwing passes underhand. Still, he could throw a perfect pass underhand, it was amazing! Had things went according to plan I think he would have been an very good QB. -

As far as physical specimens and natural athletes go, Jararcus Russel was off the charts. Unfortunately he has lemon pudding for brains, little heart and no charater.
