    4 straight AFC Championship

    Now a Title.

About as good as it gets for a journeyman player

and yet Tony Gonzalez-to cite just one example-the best TE of his generation and one of the greats ever, a perrenial pro Bowler, has one playoff win in all his years...

Robert Horry will always be the greatest journeyman in any sport.  7 rings.  Unbelievable.

Robert Horry= Human Victory Cigar. Pimp conventions have fewer rings.

Except Robert Horry was a legitimate contributor to his teams.

I believe John Kiley still holds the record playing for something like 17 champions exclusively in a backup role.

I am really happy for him! I think he was a great teammate on the Pats and gave them everything he had. He certainly contributed more than some players when called upon. He may not be a great player, but he plays hard, and filled in on defense when the Pats needed him to. And as a STer he was pretty good.

    Teams need players like that.

    So good for him!
