    Jets got 2 defenses!

I'm not usually the one to talk trash, but I just want to do a little gloating.  this team talked so much trash earlier this year and today got thier as$e? handed to them.

Back to the point of the thread...it seems that the  Jets have 2 defenses.

Thier traditional defense and the ironman team for all franchises int's.

Just wanted to get that out.

Good job fellas...now lets redeem ourselves against the saints.

Once a few teams saw their d on tape that about ended it for them. They were just a flash in the pan for a couple weeks.

They also lost their Vince Wilfork equivalent for the season. That tends to hurt your run game a little bit, which in turn opens up the passing game. Also, the loss of Leon Washington hurts their TOP game which in turn keeps their D on the field longer.

Not really defending the hated Jets just trying to take into account all the factors between this Defense to the Defense we faced in week 2. Oh, having Welker back and catching 15 balls for 200 yards this time around helps out a little bit as well.

Everyone loses guys. We lost Brady last year and were 10-6. Do you think the 4-6 Jets will win their last 6? NOT. But they are losing because of Sanchez - it will be interesting if Sanchez is worth the beating they are taking this year. I was much more impressed with Flacco and even thought Orton looked OK. I am not that impressed with Sanchez - Pete Carroll said Sanchez needed another year of college - looks like Pete was right.

    Re: Jets got 2 defenses!

Regardless of the Jets injuries they turn the ball over alot.  I stated on a post earlier and have said this since week 1.  Mark Sanchez throws at least 2 picks a game.  Its up to the defense to capitalize on his mistakes and today they did.

the better team won today, regardless of who was injured or not.  TB was not 100% in week 2 and we did not have WW in the game.

    Thats the difference.

Where's a synched in Brady fit into your equation? Stop it with injuries. GOOD teams find a way to overcome them. Remember last year when it was all doom and gloom when Brady went down? IN fact, we'd heard it for many years: "What if Brady gets hurt? We're dead!" WQell, they didn't do too badly last year (11-5). But, here are the JESTS! in their "Every man for himself!" mode.

Very sad. OOPS! Sanchez just threw another INT on the way to the airport!
