In Response to Re: Jets Have CB Troubles, Too : You are such a bafoon.  If by the 'NY media' you mean you, I guess you are right.  The Jets stellar pass D this preseason has been because of Cromartie, who has played excellent and Wilson who has played very well too.   Here you go throwing out that so and so is always hurt.  Last week you said it was Jenkins who until last year had started 40 or 50 straight games.  Now you claim Pool, who had started 27 straight games before his migrane problems, which, from all reports, are history.

         Pool is nicked up:

"Ryan seemed nonchalant about the announcement, but www.nydailynews.com/topics/Brodney+Pool" title="Brodney Pool">safety Brodney Pool (sprained ankle) missed his third consecutive practice. He will be among the starters who sit the whole game against the Eagles Thursday night anyway. Whether or not he will be around for the opener is unknown"

You know what I love about the Jets?  They stink.  That is great.  Next year they can draft another QB.

is a troll someone who removes the rose colored glasses and understands football and can objectively observe and cmment on his favorite team? is a troll someone who has been a fan of the same team his whole life, but understands that nothing lasts for ever, and has some fun speculating on what his favorite team should do to improve? does a troll look at the competition and acknowledge and respect talent?
you know what? I must be a troll! tell rusty gris whatever he was finally right!

You are correct that Shrimpy-Arms is only an inch shorter, although his arms are an additional inch and a half shorter than McCourty's arms.  Then Shrimpy-Arms is only a little slower -- his 40 times are not too far behind McCourty's.  Then his 20 times are only .09 seconds behind McCourty's.  And his broad jump is only 4 inches less than McCourty's.  And his 3-cone drill is .14 seconds behind McCourty's.  And all this is with Shrimpy-Arms getting to run on his own home field on his pro day, while McCourty had to travel and compete with everybody else at the national combine.

even with all the issues on d, i don't see the jets scoring more than 20 against the pats. they will probably score 17.

pats o will overwhelm the jets d.

i expect revis to suddenly come back after the jets lose to the pats.

if "experts" are sying the jets are a team to beat, then that win for the pats will indicate they have enough for 12 wins.

It must be from working opposite Cromartie.

Do you mean that every NFL quarterback would take advantage of Cromartie's weak play, to the exclusion of throwing toward Shrimpy-Arms?

In Response to Re: Jets Have CB Troubles, Too : That's amazing.  All of those advantages and McCourty got smoked while Wilson excelled.  It must be from working opposite Cromartie.

He got torched? I think he got beat once, and that pass wasn't completed.

He also shut-down Roddy White and laid the lumber on Michael Turner.
