Jets Schedule & predicted finish

You have to laugh looking at the first half of the Jets Schedule. I can hear the Tebow chants starting by halftime of the Bills game. They better pray they somehow pull off a win in two of the the first three games. I see no way they could be better than 2-3 after the first five games and think they will go 0-5 in first five.

The Jets have a good defense but they have no quarterback, which is no loss because they probably don't have an offensive line or wide receivers either. I would normally have them at 7.1 victories out of 16, except they're playing a bunny schedule this year. Buffalo and Miami are pretty lousy. Arizona is crashing into a deep hole. St. Louis doesn't show any signs of life. Indianapolis is crawling out of their 2011 hole but they still have big problems.

5-11 is my prediction, & there will be some serious drama reported as the season goes down the tubes early.

I would go with your 6-10 prediction but sometimes teams win a game or two they were supposed to lose, so I will go with 7-9.

I will say 5-11 but 4-12 wouldn't surprise me either. The offense may be the worst in the league, Their defense is decent but not great, aging, they will be on the field a lot this year.

Yeah I'll go with 6-10. Their O line looks horrible and so do their QB's. Doesn't matter if their D holds the opponents to 14 points if the O can't even score more then 7

I knew Wayne Hunter wasn't very good but he is worse than i thought. If he continues to emulate a turnstile at right tackle then it won't matter who is playing QB for the Jesters.

That first half of the schedule is killer, but it is the NFL and teams that look like they are strong on paper often get nailed with injuries. Still I can't see them surviving that first half...which will lead to turmoil in that weak locker room. I think the biggest hype machine in the NFL may be coming to an end...7-9 or 8-8 (at best).

I didn't see the other post. Unfortuantley, I don't have enough time to go through most of the threads here. I agree Buffalo is improved from last year. I think their offense is Much better than the Jets. I don't see the Jets being able to match their fire power.
Miami is awful, but they do get the nod because it should still be nasty hot down there for week two. I'm sure there will be plenty of Tebow fans the show up to the game in Miami. That should give shakey sanchez a nice boost of confidence.
I'm going to really enjoy watching the Jets implode.

No kidding. What did he give up 4.5 sacks. Ouch! I want them to bad horrible enough to get 5 or 6 wins, but no lousy enough to get a top five pick. I hope Sanchez is their future QB for the next 7 years.

I'll go with six wins: anything more and they overachielved.
Here they are: Jets will beat Miami once, Seattle, Jacksonville, St. Louis, Tennessee, and San Diego (stretch).

Had them at 7-9 after the draft. Going to keep that prediction but wouldn't be surprised if they end up around the 5 win mark.

Phins x2, Colts, Jags, Rams, Titans, Bills x1 are winnable IMO.
Call em games would be against the Chargers and Hawks.
9-7 if they are lucky, 5-11 if they stink up the joint.
If I had to put money on this, 7-9 would be my prediction.

The wildcat caught teams by surprise a few years ago for half a season. Since then it's become more of a gimmick than any thing else. sanchez can't run it so that means they have to substitite Tebow which will send up red flags for all the DCs.
Expect 8-8 with the wildcat being effective about 25% of the time they try it.
Also expect tebow to replace sanchez as the starter by November.
