Jets sidelines pulls scum move.

You guys that had the Pats on TV probably missed this. Guy on Jets sidelines sticks out leg on Miami player running up the sidelines and injures him.

If the Commissioner doesn't terminate this guy, I will be furious.

    Classless, dangerous, and disgusting.

Could you imagine if this was Woodhead on Special Teams (which he plays)?
How about they fly him down to the Fins practice field and let the Fins defense use him as a tackling dummy for an hour. And since he's the strength coach he wont be needing pads or a helmet.

The strength coach, huh? Obviously not strength of character. Jets distinguish themselves again, not in a good way.

No team is perfect our beloved Pats have tripped up on occasion (Spikes, Kaszur) but the Jest really seem good at it. From laying off employees, to Rex "not kissing BB rings" and Sancheeze karaoke, Favres junk, Ines Sains, Namath "can I kiss you", now this, this intentional attempt to injure an opposing player. Mr. Goodell needs to slap this team hard but I doubt it will happen.

    Fine him.  Fine the team.

Then make Alosi suit up against Pittsburgh.  See how that goes.

ESPN had the story buried this morning. Now they have a lame story about how other coaches have done similar things.  Funny part is none of their examples come close to kneeing a defenseless player.

J E T S...Cheaters...cheaters...cheaters. Talk about trying to affect the outcome of a game not to mention a mans career. This has to be more than just a rogue coach. Quite possibly a way of life for these pathetic cheaters.

This happened because Ryan has no control over the Jets players or staff. They may like him,but they don't respect him because he's a buffon.
How about Goodell sending the message he supposedly said he would: fine the team $500,000 and a 1st round pick.  That's obvious cheating, no?
    Posted by ipot
It definitely fits the terms he laid out. It was cheating "during" a game. It took a player out of the game, possibly affecting the outcome. It makes the NFL look bad. That said, I'm guessing Goodell doesn't do it. He looked the other way the last time the Jets were caught on film taping during games. He'll protect the Jets with a token fine of the offender. BTW, since this would not be a first offense, & the Jets instigated the investigation in to the Patriots, in the real world the Jets should be punished worse than the Patriots were.
