I think that you are discounting the genius of BB on this move. Knowing that the LS position was in good hands (relief to me), he was able to switch out a LS for a TE. Pure genius, but it gets better. He switched out a Crimson for a wannabe Pirate. Arrgh! I am probably making too much of this.

I hope you are right, because TE remains clouded in suspense. We have to be careful of wishful thinking, however as Rkarp has proclaimed zero chance of him making any team. Who knows maybe BB's juju will be more powerful than Rkarp's.

    Thanks BB.

lmao.....gotta be crusty with his brown nose between BB's cheeks again...

Jones is probably a good example of how thin the tight end pickings are at this point, I'm sure we will see another couple of tight ends signed and then cut by the end of next week.

Jones needs to work on his foot speed and his blocking...don't forget he didn't play last season if I'm not mistaken....his size numbers look good on paper but in person he does not look stout...he's a fairly bad blocker but tries hard...definitely a PS candidate who could do well working every day to get better...there is some potential there.

With Gronk and Hooman, plus Develin as an emergency fill in we are okay.  Add one reasonable back up and we have as many TEs as we can use assuming we are a one TE offense.
