I say keep him.
Tired of seeing the WR depth being razor thin because of incompetence or injuries.
Amendola has an injury history
Jones has an injury history
Sanders has an injury history
That's not including the list of Gronk and Hern who have injury histories, as well as Ballard who is coming off a torn ACL..
We all know Lloyd probably won't get hurt because he drops down like Peyton Manning before a sack.
Love Branch, but we should hope that we don't see him signed at any point throughout the season.
Keep them all and you still have WRs on the roster (Lloyd, Amendola, Sanders, Jones, Slater)...which is a resonable number.

until they add more bodies at WR i'd say keep him and try and restructure.

Brandon Lloyd has an injury history
how many NFL players don't have injury histories?

good thread.. yes lloyd tends to go down quicker than linda lovelace used to do it but he does have great hands, reps in the system and familiariaty with amen. the problem is that at 4.9m total cost with 900+ yard catching he would be dumb to take a paycut. unless pats were giving him more guaranteed $ or years i would walk away. lloyd is a definite high level starter in this league. clearly the pats do not AGREE. he's being phased out too. too finesse, doesnt fight, not explosive. look at bb's present philosophy, not interested in guys like lloyd anymore, ditto with midgets like welk or wood. he wants tough physical guys with some explosion. throw it less but do more with the throws (yards per attempts) and run run run run in a tight end dominant system.

The cap hit's the thing. If they can restructure he stays; if not, he goes. Think we'll know today.

keep him, he was getting better as the season went n and he really isn't that expensive for a #1 WR

I wonder if he fits better with Amendola than with Welker - I see Amendola doing more than WElker outside and downfield.

I agree. I think Lloyd's overall value goes up if they have other outside weapons a defense has to deal with, even if his actual numbers drop a little.

Hopefully he restructures and he stays. He at least understands the offense something we do not know whether Jones or Sanders will be able to grasp.

I heard on another board someone suggest that we work out a deal with Pittsburg to use him in a deal for Sanders. The Steeler's must be pretty short at WR about now. Any thoughts?
