Keeping Ray Allen One Of Ainge's Best Moves Ever

It's certainly worked out better than the Raef Lafrenz deal....

Seriously though , Ray Allen has exceded all expectations during his tenue as a Celtic. The good news is we get him for another season after this one.

Imagine if Miami, Chicago or Orlando had offered Ray a deal he couldn't turn down ?

    The Celtics would be done.

It is great to watch this years team , too bad for Delonte , I  had looked forward to seeing him as a Celtic on a great Celtic team.

But imagine if we had lost Ray Allen as a free agent ?

So glad he is still a Celtic

    Haha. I agree. In total.

However, this is the wrong forum.

    Go Celtics!

I have to agree. He sure can run the ball. Oh wait I'm confused. He's a Celtics player and this is a Pats board. Anyway I'm off to start a thread on the Celtics board about Woodhead's shot blocking skills.

And yes Ray still has some gas left in his tank.

I love Ray. The Pats are doing it with a lot of new faces, and the Celts are doing it with a lot of the old faces(Big 3,Shaq,Jermaine) It's great to see an older veteran team still contend. Too bad about Dolonte. I hope he comes back in the spring in time for the playoffs.
