[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Keith Olbermann Out for NBC Football Night in America : ~e ...Idk, Is he- I mean, do I know 'im in College? Is he a video game character, or someone NE just picked up off waivers? In reality, The literary connection are: RE: " Lazaru s"... T.S. Eliot's " The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrok ." Here's a Portion- But though I have wept and fasted, wept and prayed, Though I have seen my head [grown slightly bald] brought in upon a platter, I am no prophet—and here’s no great matter; I have seen the moment of my greatness flicker, And I have seen the eternal Footman hold my coat, and snicker, 85 And in short, I was afraid. And would it have been worth it, after all, After the cups, the marmalade, the tea, Among the porcelain, among some talk of you and me, Would it have been worth while, 90 To have bitten off the matter with a smile, To have squeezed the universe into a ball To roll it toward some overwhelming question, To say: “I am Lazarus, come from the dead, Come back to tell you all, I shall tell you all”— 95 If one, settling a pillow by her head, Should say: “That is not what I meant at all. That is not it, at all .” " Sanatorium " comes from one of my favorite novels entitled " Sanatarium Under The Sign of the Hour Glass ." The author was a Polis Jew named, Bruno Schultz; A trully brilliant, and otherwise relatively unknown writer who only was able to pen 2 books of short stories. Came of age in early 20th C, and when Germany invaded Poland, It just so happened that 1 Nazi officer, recognizing Schultz's trully brilliant writing skill, took Schultz "under his wing" so to say (another way would be to say, He kept him away from the horrors of places like Auschwitz). But, tragically, A different Nazi nut-case who didn't like Nazi #1, AND who wanted to- WhoTH knows, P#ss off Nazi #1? Well, He went up to Schultz on the street 1 day, and just well- Shot him in the head (like one would who was simply mad at someone else, Deciding to idk? Break a meaningless inanimate object that another person's fond of)... Insanity. Bruno's prose flows so beautifully ad so richly, It's at times makes for a difficult read, but it's imo-so original and so gifted...It's like a work of art. Anyway...There's certain, ahh-personal connections and insinuations in those 2 terms. #1 Sanatorium =Nuthouse. I'm, well-crazy. It's not like the neighbor's dog named Sam, Is tellin me ta off people...Likewise, I don't regularly worship the Relish Bottle in my fridge. It's just, and I do NOT wanna sound egotistically unique and UNmatched to All of mankind lol, But- idk? I slowly learned somewhere and sometime coming to adulthood, That I don't see things as seemingly, 99.9% of everyone else, Sees things. Certain sensitivities to human relations and relationships, As large as a society's yearnings and as minute as an individual's awkward wayward glance betrying an underlying motive or thought, of sorts...These things, I desperately tried to drown away in substances & solidarity for a decade (or more). Now, I just cathartically release them "creatively" writing on a Sport's Board...oh, I got a Cat too! And on, and on... Yea, almost forgot RE: The self-proscribed " Lazarus " part... See, like I stated above, It's not like I have some grnd delusions of power, prestige, fame, or WhoTH knows... It's just, That I've come to the conclusion, That I'm too important to die. Trully, the resta you folks are wormfood, YET my own mortality is too sacred. Not like, I have something great to accomplish, or anything...It's more like, Death and possibly nonbeing, Is beyond my overall awareness...So obviously then, the only thing I can thus conclude at all- is that, I must be beyond death then, right?

Cool, For some reason I'm always interested in the origin of certain screen names.
Mine is pretty simple and not thought out. It's origin is from laziness.
Actually the reason I ask is because Max Lazarus is an artist from the early to mid 1900's. He was a Jew in Germany who fled because of the Nazi's and came to America. Most of his art in Germany was destroyed by the Nazi's. The ironic Connection is that he spent the latter years of his life in a Sanatorium I believe in Colorado somewhere. The first time I saw your handle that was the connection I made.
You never know, We may all be beyond death.
