What can be done there? McCourty looks like his feet are encased in cement running out of the end zone and Welker is clearly playing in pain and should NOT be going it.

I dont like # 32 back there. It used to be we had multiple options back there. Barring a perfect blocking wall and wide open hole, he doesnt do anything special and usually just gets to the 20. If thats all he is gonna do then keep M.Slater back there who atleast has speed and isnt our Starting safety. he offers nothing special and is too important in the back end. I hope BB realizes in the playoffs but I doubt he changes anything..

 

 

Seems crazy to me that Shane Vereen can't return either kickoffs or punts. Has the speed, moves and supposedly good hands. Hard to think he'd be any worse.
