    kraft stroking his woody

no excuses, the jets played a great game and won fair and square. i tip my cap to them, even as their trolls show up here to gloat and rub our noses in it.

i read how kraft spoke with woody johnson and congratulated him on the win, as he should, but why the hell did he go so far as to wish them luck and say he is pulling for them to win it all?? uggh. talk about being outta touch with your fanbase, and way to stand behind your own quarterback (and team in general) who the jets trashed all week in the media and still continue to do.

i guess it's an elite thing, the billionaires club, and the players and fans are nothing more than their personal game pieces.

under normal circumstances i personally would usually pull for the team that beat the pats myself, looking for some kinda peace of mind in knowing that at least we were knocked out by the champs. but not in this case, not with the way that the jets players have conducted themselves.

Not all Pat fans are whiners. You are a charter member of the Deion Branch club. Kraft is demonstrating how to be classy: congradulate the victor and hope the team that beats his team wins it all. He also wants the AFC East to claim another Lombardi. But classy is something that some Pat fans know nothing about.

You talk about class, but your name and picture are of an event that is just plain sad make me wonder about why you expect from others what you are not exhibiting in your own life.  Not a cheap shot, and I kind of get what you are saying here, but just think you aren't consistent in your message.

I know that when I think of class, I immediately think of the Jets.

Lol.  YOU do, though.  Congratulations are one thing, (spell check didn't help you there?) but no requirement to **hope** that the Jests win it all.  NONE.  The AFC East isn't a club.  It is a ring, where opponents meet to knock each other out.  You use the word classy too much, and its meaning eludes you.  I personally think any outcome that involves the Jests NOT winning the SB is the best outcome for the NFL, and am more pained that the Patriots caused the Jets to be able to continue talking than I am about not continuing in the post season.  CONGRATULATIONS  you are now a serious enough threat to be hated at the level the Steelers used to be.  You are still the Jets, though.  Have fun with THAT.

first off schmck there is not a "D" in the word "congratulate". second of all, i actually criticized branch in other threads for stooping to running his mouth to reporters in the media when it was over. i have no issue with kraft "congratulating" the winner because of course he should do that...and doing just that is showing enough class, there is no need to root for them. particularly after they have spent the past 2 weeks sh!tting on your team in the media, attacking your brand and trying not just to win the game, but humiliate your franchise player in the process. get off your soapbox chump.

my name and avatar have nothing to do with it....it comes from an old fantasy football team name that just stuck around for some reason, it's not uncommon for people to use strange humor when naming fantasy football teams. appreciate the support (or lack thereof).

and I still think that, even after your explanation.

Kind of hard for a Pats fan to criticize another team for acting inappropriately after the win.  I'm sure LT saw it as pay back.

You mean The Danian (LT is taken) who cried when the Pats celebrated in San Diego and called the team classless for that celebration now saying "They did it to us, so it is alright."? He will have class when he  doesn't make excuses when he behaves in manner that he previously described as "classless".

    Re: kraft stroking his woody

everyone is entitled to their own opinion, i have said and will continue to say that i personally have no issue with what happens on the field as far as trash talking, celebrating, whatever (other than the double standard that the jets get so offended when brady does it, but its no big deal in any other week when other players leaguewide pound their chest and taunt their opponents after a big play or win).

it happens in every single nfl game every week to some degree....i have no issue with brady getting fired up on the field if he is having a good game, nor do i have a problem with the jets celebrating a big victory that they just earned. IMO deion shouldnt have went there, thats my opinion, i think that if you dont like it then beat them and they wont be celebrating on your field.

MY ISSUE (and it doesnt mean everyone has to have an issue with it) is when players take it to a level of trying to humiliate their oppenents and show a total lack of respect in the media. I just feel like it should be kept on the field among the players, bad sportmanship does not need to get beamed into millions of houseworlds worldwide via the press. Nothing good comes from it, it only creates more trolls.
