Connolly carries the football the way my daughter used to carry her teddy bear.

I have to give him credit, as soon as he caught that ball, he put two hands on it, and went through the traffic, once he got free he put the other arm out and got chugging.... Great Play

Perhaps the all-time make you laugh your azzzzz off play!

But...the BEST thing about this play, the thing that most people will overlook, is Sammy Morris's HUSSSSTLE on this play (although he probably clips a guy at the end). Watch the video again, and you will see Sammy appear out of nowhere and out-hustle the entire Packers' special teams unit.

It almost has a Ben-Watson-in-Denver feel to it. At the 0:26 second mark of the video, Morris is unseen...by the 0:29 second mark, he is a major factor in the play.

Sergio Brown gets credit, too, but Morris's play is amazing.

it was a classic moment imagine  what would of happened if  he actually scored!  im glad they won  cause if the pats lost   we would not be  hearing  about it.

It's a shame he couldn't get those last few yards for the TD. I've seen linemen run with the ball before but never give a stiff arm.

Absolutely amazing run back.  Lots of fun for you guys.  Not surprisingly, the Pats got away with 2 blocks in the back on the return.  Very obvious.

Actually its a good thing he didn't score the TD b/c then the Pats wouldn't of been able to take some seconds off the clock after running 3 plays and then the Packers might not of been content to run the clock out before halftime as our defense was bad at times.

Great run! Inspirational! ...And it couldn't have come at a better time! With that completely unexpected, highly unlikely kickoff return, he managed to shift the momentum back in the Pats favor.

...Do you think that he will now be used as a return specialist on Patriots kickoff returns?...Also, is it possible that they may tap this heretofore unknown talent for possible punt returns as well? ;)

    Re: Kudos to Connolly!!

BB doesn't pick 400 pound linemen.  He likes fast 313 pound guys with long arms.  Connelly was put in mainly to be a one man wedge, but he can run ok, considering, and he delivered an excellent stiff-arm to the face of one of the Packers, springing himself.  His sheer bulk helped him plow through a few people and carry two defenders the last five yards or so.
