Are you suggesting that you can't play good pass D without having a lot of sacks? Yes, you are an idiot.

I'm not suggesting anything, it's a f-ing fact.  If you can't pressure the QB your pass defense will get exposed.

Another patsies fan who lacks the ability to see the relationship between big leads and turnovers?  Shocking.

The Patriots forced 41 turnovers last season.  29 of them came in games that they lost, won by 10 points or less or at points in the game where they had a lead of 10 points or less.  Another troll who isn't acquainted with the facts.  Shocking.

Arrington and Dennard have made it possible to move McCourty to safety, making the secondary that much stronger.  Arrington has been a good value for his contract.

Wrong!  Looks like someone has been going to the Queenie school of lying.

The Patriots forced 19 turnovers in games they lost or won by 10 points or less.  Here is the breakdown:

    2 vs Arizona (Lost)

    1 vs Baltimore (Lost)

3 vs Denver (Won by 10)

    2 vs Seattle (Lost)

2 vs NYJ 1st game (Won by 3)

3 vs Buffalo 2nd game (Won by 6)

1 vs Miami 1st game (Won by 7)

    2 vs San Francisco (Lost)

3 vs Jacksonville (Won by 7)

They forced 10 turnovers in their other games where they had a lead of 10 points or less.  Here is the breakdown:

Tennessee: 2 turnovers qualify.  Locker INT with Patriots up 7-3.  Locker Fumble recovered with Patriots up 7-3.

Buffalo 1st game: 3 turnovers qualify.  Fitz INT with Patriots up 7-3,  Fitz INT with Patriots up 7-3, Spiller fumble with Patriots down 14-7

St. Louis: 1 turnover qualifies.  Steve Smith fumble recovered with Patriots up 14-7.

Indianapolis: 1 turnover qualifies.  Luck INT with game tied at 14.

NYJ 2nd Game: 1 turnover qualifies.  Sanchez INT with game tied at 0.

Houston: 1 turnover qualifies.  Schaub INT with Patriots up 7-0.

Miami 2nd game: 1 turnover qualifies.  Tannehill INT with game tied at 0.

That sure looks like 29 turnovers to me.  You are a troll and a liar.  More importantly you are an idiot.  LMAO @ U.

As far as your lame "sack" excuse for the patsie D goes, you're an idiot.

Yeah I can see how facts, statistics and logic confound you to the point of name calling... one phrase defines you:

Butt fumble.  You're the joke of the sporting world, but you're used to that.

I wouldn't draw conclusions from play against two rookie QBs.

How much worse than bottom five do you think they would have been if McCourty would have not been demoted?

Yeah McCourty was demoted, then named team captain, the stupidity of this notion is otherworldly.

You must be one of Rex Ryan's foot soldiers...

I have been a Pats fan for well over 40 years. I have never been, nor ever will be a Jets fan. But I am also a football fan, and say it like I see it. Since the Rex era, the Jets have had a better defense than the Pats. It would not surprise me if that is the case again this year

    THank you TB

Arrington is like many Belichick players before him, might not have a career on many other teams but in our system is incredible as a specialist in the slot.  I caught a lot of heck prior to the season suggesting that he was one of the better nickel corners in the NFL, he may not be a starter out on the edge, but he controls the middle of the field very well.

Agree completely. Arrington on the edge last year with Dennard/McCourty (before he was safety) was horrible that's when the D had no pass rush or coverage skills. That's when Sanchez dropped 300 on us. The moment we got Talib, Arringtons play took off in the slot, he seems 100 times more comfortable in the slot.

    Sounds great, Bustchise.

    "dropped 300 on us"

Was that the 301 on Thanksgiving night when our D played in a prevent and he had about 75 yards in garbage time? LMAO

"dropped 300". The only thing he dropped was his pathetic, bust career on national tv, along with the football.

No actually how about the game in Foxboro where it took OT to beat the Jets! it was after that game BB knew he needed to make a move in the secondary. Stop trying to call me out when u cant even get your facts straight. Im stating fact and what I saw. No cares about the but fumble game u always bring up, we killed them that night, and Sanchez was horrible w a QBR of 21.8

Who was named what?  Looks like McCourty is getting closer to his outright release.  The name Meriweather ring a bell?

against 2 rookie qb's the defense held up, josh freeman isn't that much better, pats should eke out another win on sunday, schedule after that looking a little rough.
