    Larry Foote realesed

Should the pats go after him? he's only 27 years old and seems like a good player.

No. He's going to Detroit (and isn't a fit).

We have a lot of young player at linebacker right now and we dont need teh Steelers trash. Foot is an alright player but nothing special.

    Re: Larry Foote realesed

He's a two-down backer at best and won't give the Pats a pass rushing OLB (like Taylor would). The Pats have Mayo (who is awesome) and some young LBs (and Bruschi) at ILB; we don't need Foote. Pittsburgh released him because he wanted a long term deal worth more money; I can't see BB wanting that potential headache. Better to sign Taylor for less money, shorter terms, and have him play the role he is meant for (pass rushing OLB) than have Foote.
