    POCHEN, not funny.

Let me explain some Boston.com chatroom netiquette:

    Never titillate with bogus headlines.

Never present old, discredited news as new, accredited news.

Never issue a headline without a question mark when it so clearly requires a question mark.

Now say eight "Hail Marys" and  go over to Fox Sports for your chatting needs for the next seven days.  One hour there and you will see the value of chatroom netiquette.

    Done deal

Reports emerged on Monday that cornerback Leigh Bodden had re-signed with the Patriots.

Not so fast, his agent said.

Today, Jason La Canfora of NFL.com reports that the deal is done -- and La Canfora has the numbers.

Per La Canfora, it's a five-year, $28.5 million contract, with $10 million guaranteed.

Bodden signed a one-year deal with the Pats in 2009, after being cut by the Lions.  The Patriots had offered a multi-year contract at the time, but Bodden opted to do a shorter deal and to hit the market in the uncapped year.

Bodden visited the Texans before opting to remain with the Patriots.
