    Leon's other love in trouble

It seems the other man in Leon/Jets' life is in trouble for steroids.

This is just more league BS. Football and Baseball need to get that the players don't look bad with these medication based suspensions. The leagues do.

apparently you don't believe that kids have ever consumed bottles of cough medicine to get drunk or abused prescription medication to get high.

If you ignore things that might have the items in them then you open yourself up to people abusing those items to get around the rules.  Also, if you DO allow someone to consume something because it's in a medication then regardless of health concerns you are still creating an unfair playing field.

Example, player A has some ongoing asthma type condition that requires a medication containing some kind of steroid that helps it, but also as a side effect allows them to work out longer and harder than if they weren't taking it. Is it fair that Player A might take that medication for 10 years and have a better career than player B who didn't ?

Other example.... medical marijuana is allowed in many states. While it may be legal for someone with a medical condition to smoke it... does that mean it's ok for that person to smoke it and get high while they're at work ?

Just because it's better for a person's mental or physical health does not mean it's safe or fair to those around them.

It's absolutely fair in all those cases. The secondary benefit is not as important as the primary one. Fear and action against a secondary benefit, at the expense of the players health, is far more wrong.
