Eric Williams, of The Tacoma News Tribune, reports the Seattle Seahawks have removed the franchise tag from LB Leroy Hill in an effort to open some salary cap space. Hill had not signed the one-year, $8.3 million tender and reportedly turned down a six-year, $36 million deal from Seattle. The move came just hours after the Seahawks drafted OLB Aaron Curry No. 4 overall. -

If he improves the team I'm sure BB will bring him in to interview at least. Looking at his stats this is not a pass rush guy. I would think if we are so high on Crable, Hill might take some snaps away not letting him develop as fast as possible.
I think we need to give the guys in house a chance, I truly think if BB didn't think we had the answer in that locker room already he would have drafted one or two guys. -

There is absolutely no way he gets a multi year contract for 36 mil here in New England... -
