    Mankins staying long term?

do you think that the Jeff Saturday/Bob Kraft
relationship- and what Kraft did for the
CBA geting done -will make Mankins re think his
    'head in the sand" mentality?

There may come a time when Mankins #'s under
his current tender must be addressed

I believe that Kraft is the best owner in sports-
and it is obvious every time he speaks

Light is coming back- Mankins is a road grader and we have
young guys with upward trajectiry and a great Oline coach
we need a great Oline to keep Brady around for awhile
and Mankins is great at what he does

I think if they make Mankins an offer he likes he'll stay.  If they don't he's gone.  I don't think it has anything to do with Kraft's personality.  It's all about the contract numbers.

I really doubt that anything Mankins said or Kraft said was or will be a deal breaker . . . that whole story about the apology or the demands for an apology or whatever it was sounded like silly sportswriter nonsense to me.  I believe there have been and maybe still are some bad feelings, but all of that will be instantly overcome once there's an acceptable deal on the table.
