No one is doing flips over Mark Sanchez outside of the NY/NJ area. Let's put it like that.

    You idiots are deluded.

Counting the post season, Sanchez is actually 23-14 (he missed a game as a rookie) with a .622 winning percentage.  While that is a solid two year stretch, there have been some other QBs in the past 10 years or so with similar or better success.

    Mark Sanchez 19-12 + 4-2 = 23-14 (.622)

Recent QB Records Through First 2 Seasons:
    Ben Roethilsberger 22-3 + 5-1 = 27-4 (.871)
    Kyle Orton 13-6 + 0-0 = 13-6 (.684)
    Matt Ryan 20-10 + 0-1 = 21-11 (.656)
    Shaun King 15-7 + 1-2 = 16-9 (.640)
    Kerry Collins 16-9 + 1-1 = 17-10 (.630)
    Joe Flacco 20-12 + 3-2 = 23-14 (.622)

Recent QB Records Through First 2 Seasons as a Starting QB:
    Marc Bulger 18-4 + 0-1 = 18-5 (.783)
    Kurt Warner 21-6 + 3-1 = 24-7 (.774)
    Philip Rivers 25-7 + 2-2 = 27-9 (.750)
    Tom Brady 20-10 + 3-0 = 23-10 (.697)
    Tony Romo 19-7 + 0-2 = 19-9 (.679)
    Jay Fiedler 21-10 + 1-2 = 22-12 (.647)

QBs more successful with less to work with than Marky Mark? Really?  I don't believe it!!

They can't be elsewhere other than NY!  Phatty Rex told us so!  NY is the bestest!

Enough already with the draft picks and the trades, let's try a few seasons of keeping good players by paying them their worth to the team and build a sustainable playoff winning team. As we have all witnessed the past few seasons an undefeated season, best record and division champions don't mean squat in the post season. I believe continuity will go along way in bringing back a Super Bowl championship. Try it BB.

    Ian R. Rapoport
Logan Mankins' agent Frank Bauer told the Herald that he hasn't decided how to handle Mankins' franchise tag but is considering all options.

Bauer's best line? Called it a "travesty" how the Patriots are treating Mankins, an All-Pro

Frank Bauer also told the Herald: "There's a lot of people in the NFL going, 'How do you treat one of your great players this way.''

Agent Frank Bauer said, of Mankins' situation: "'It's been a tough road.''

Isn't a "travesty" something like a 'mocking & therefore totally misguided (in a way)-grotesque likeness of whatever, is or should be, the real/true thing?  Therefore, I mean=Travesty?  Is he absolutely SURE Logan Mankins's contract situation, lives up to, THIS billing?  Mankins, IF he didn't choose to sit out some games, woulda made just a couple thous-, under 3.3 MILLION dollars...  Recall now, Logan Mankins is a zone-blocking offensive guard (for those unaware)...  Now, WITH that guarenteed 10% increase for ALL RFA tenders used consecutively, that's almost 3.7 mil we're discussing now, right (2011: @ 330k increase of 3.3 mil from '10)...  Isn't this just a hair under 7 million dollars in 2 years...?  Recall now once again, him being an offensive guard who HIM-self turned down Top 3-4 OG money in ALL of the NFL...  Is- I'm just..."travesty"?
