Manning wins "Most Respected Player" {peers-ESPN} by landslide!

Won so easily with 26.8% of the vote.

Brady and Adrian Peterson tied for second with 7.5% of the vote.

Kind of like the poll {ESPN Insider} "who'd you like to play with?

Manning got 54% of the vote. I think Brady got less than 5%.

That's it.  Manning is an "everyday" guy.  Brady is seen outside of football as a fashion model and high society.

It would be interesting if such a question were posed to players who did play with both Manning and Brady.  From what I have read, these players have spoken highly of both as both are extremely hard workers who breed success.

When you have not had an opportunity to personally meet someone, you have to rely on "hearsay" to form an opinion.  Fans have a tendancy to not like a player due to their high rate of success playing for "another" team and not their favorite team.  One can only surmise how things would be if Manning had been a Patriot and Brady a Colt with the successes they have achieved to date.  You know what I mean.

Yep - At their level, the success that those two have had stops being natural talent and requires uncommon preparation and commitment - especially in today's NFL.
