the thing i don't get about rusty is that he claims victories in arguements if someone calls him a name.  by those rules (unless there is cheating) , he must lose a lot of arguements.

Don't know how you can knock Parcells drafts when you look at the Pats drafts after he left the 96 season. Chris Canty was a Grier pick that absolutely bombed while Parcels basically hits almost all the time in the 1st round on whichever team he goes. Grier is a terrible GM and it showed when Belichick got rid of every Grier pick in the Pete Carroll era with the exception of Kevin Faulk. The Glenn pick should have been a hit considering it was a top 10 pick so I wouldn't give Grier credit for that. Belichicks's 1st draft wasn't exactly a great one with Klemm being a bust in the 2nd round and J.R. Redmon wasn't exactly a elite back but at least he contributed 1 season in the playoffs. Belichick hasn't had the greatest drafts either with most of his success being from signing the right free agents in his early Patriots career while also inheriting many of Parcells players that he drafted on the defense. Belichick is definitely arguably the greatest coach of all time but when it comes to being a personel man Parcells may have had better success drafting. Parcells has slipped as a coach in the cap era and also hasn't been successful finding quality coaches to help him win a superbowl. Don't forget that Belichick failed as a head coach in Cleveland.

Looking at their drafts Parcells definitely drafted more talent overall with many guys becoming starters while Belichick hit on 2 hall of famers in Brady and Seymour.

In Response to Re: Miami is just so classy arent they? : We have trolls from Spygate.  They had very little to troll about until Spygate--SB loss--Brady injury. It's their lifeblood. Just a side bar point as to why people lile JimmyJacksHimself, Underoos, Waldork, and other trolls spend their life on these threads. I mean, how unhealthy are these humans spending this much time on a board that doesn't represent their own team? Their comments are never geared towards actual topics, but they just hover around analyzing Pats fans comments.

i see you have still ignored what i said before...so im guessing you give up? you lose

and nice nickname for me, i like that...maybe ill use it

but at either rate...its better than using the same of a fictional character and using the picture of a small boy( talk about pedophilia)

at any rate, ive participated in several discussions about all things football...but i guess you were too busy trashing every other team in the league and/or worshipping at your BB throne

meh, you are a very small man and it just cant be helped...maybe you should rename yourself to be gary coleman instead

In Response to Re: Miami is just so classy arent they? : "Not even close"? Really?   For 7 years, teams double teamed him and he still was very effective and consistent. He'd stop the run and rush the passer.   Whenever a team gameplans against a player, there is without a question a HOF nod up for discussion. He was arguably the best DE in the entire NFL for like 7 years. He has 3 rings. 4 Super Bowl appearances.  Multiple Pro Bowls, etc. The anti-Pats angle some of you jealous dummies take is pathetic.

Really? He's not even on YOUR team anymore. He's not even close..like I said. If he plays another 4 years at a high level possibly. You have to admit he's had 4 good years and the rest were slightly above average at best. You compare his stats to Micheal Strahan and Jason Taylor who MAY make the HOF and it's not even close. You always resort to name calling because someone disagrees with you.    You need to get rid of that anger sport.

as far as the seymour thing goes, he had 3 dominate years and then his reputation took over, because since that 3 year span...he isnt even close to a hall of famer...i think that perfect72's point...and generally in the NFL you need your span of greatness to encompass more than 3 years
