Mr. Belichick--please stop telling other teams how great they are.

Then they begin to believe it, look at Seattle- good defense- mediorce offense. You go on and on how great they are and look what happened.  Now your going on and on about Tebow--

"He's dangerous because of his versatility, but it's really no different than any other punting situation in that you still have to cover the eligible receivers,'' Belichick said. "But you have to be alert for them to snap the ball to him, whether he runs up the middle, or runs on a sweep. But those are things you have to prepare for every week when you're on the punt return unit.

"The fact that it's him and he's a big, strong guy who's a good runner and can throw the ball, he can do a little more than a lot of guys who are back there,'' Belichick said. "At the same time, those are the things you have to defend against every week.''

I understand you want to respect teams and players but come on now.

Sometimes I get the impression he does it so the press won't have anything to write about. They drool over smack because it makes their job easy they just have to copy quotes.

And now folks we hear from the Jets fan who like his fellow losers prefer a coach who entertains them to one that has actually won championships.

I wonder what Rex will be doing this year to celebrate 44 years of nothing?

BB is guarding against overconfidence .  Don't expect anything easy . Prepare , be ready for a tough fight. It's psychology and it works.

the Seattle game WAS tough because they ARE good.  The first half of that game was intense balls out 110% football .  Brady, Welker , Hernandez , Lloyd . They were all into it and so was Seattle .

Don't take that for granted.  most teams don't play at that level . BB gets some credit .  The second half was jet lag or who knows.  Should have won. Sux.
