Lol...Thank ya kindly guys, Looks like were up and runnin' here.  Heck, with mighty's "sorta, maybe" and my own, along with garytx's "who knows?", I've already exceeded the expectations I had for the actual election, go figure...  Also, I forgot to mention where exactly I stand on Oil Consumption...  No More Oil Runs ALL- We gotta be versatile here...  No more Bush and fam running the planet, and when that doesn't work, finding an excuse to invade an Opec Nation-Uh-uh, no way.  Hydrogen, Water, Solar, Wind, Nuclear: Huge Government funds going into developing and furthering these: No single energy dependant fuel=More jobs=Less War=AND seein' how I'm trust bustin every conglomerate=NO more single monopoly on ANY of these.  Oh, and I'm sick of having to choose between 1 overpriced Cable network or 1 single overpriced satellite network running through my 1 or 2 single choice Internet & Phone Provider as it's powered by my 1 or 2 choice light & power company...

Think of my stance as COMPLETE and TOTAL Free Trade by ANY company with the best service and cheapest rates, with Big Brother not caring 2 sh#ts about keeping an eye on you, Big Bro's keeping an eye on the monopolies, politicians for once, CEOs rippin YOU off with backroom dealings with more politicians and more CEOs...  Government helping out the little guys (Company & People) until their up and running to go head to head with the big organizations.  Ya got enough to live lavishly & follow your dreams and never want again=Good.  Ya got enough so that you're hurting another hardworking American's Dream and want, want want ever more than you'll ever even enjoy=Bad.  I'll probably just burn that person at the stake then...

Oh, also: It's the average American's g#damn life that gets effected by Washington's laws, So I'm instituted heavily checked and honestly regulated and re-regulated (No Florida politics here)- State, Regional, and obviously National Voting Offices,...On EVERY issue your selectman, congressman and (cough) future President Votes On THEMSELVES...  This way, Oh- 80% of the constituency of people Mr. Politician supposedly represents, WANTS or FEELS THIS way towards an issue or law, and Mr. Politician feels the OTHER way and votes accordingly...Well, Mr. Politician can go about explaining excatly WHY he went totally against his/her Voters Wants & Wishes.

Ya...with ideals like these, I'm pretty much expecting to get shot roughly 20 or 30 times before actual campaigning begins...  Pssh, like that'll stop me.  WhoTH hasn't been shot or at least stabbed before.

And you should force every American to take one or two courses in economics.  Maybe then they'll know enough about how the economy really works to stop believing all of the BS that politicians spew out their mouth to get votes...and maybe stop hating the wealthy in society.

Do you consider Bill Gates and Warren Buffet evil?  Two of the richest men in America, and both donate more of their money to worthy causes than the federal government.  We need to tax the heck out of them before they spend another few billion trying to stem disease in Africa or funding cancer research...those evil rich folks.Laughing

All very ideallistic policies. But you severely overestimate the power a president weilds. In order to implement things like that you would need to be dictator...or at least King! I do agree that those who work hard should be able to have more than they do now. I know I bust my hump just to keep my job, and my "discressionary" cash seems to be shrinking each month! But realize also that a good percentage of poor people are poor because they don't put in the effort. Sometimes they make more on assistance than they would at a job. I also agree with your wish to see these huge "mega-corporations" broken up in favor of more locallized businesses. But even if you did get elected (I suppose you could take your $3 a head donation fund, buy a camera, and post ads on youtube), how long would it last? After pi**ing off all those people with all the money, there will be a waiting list for hitmen hired to take you down! Sounds like suicide to me! I like to stay out of politics. Way too much BS involved for me. I get enough of that at a regular job! But good luck whatever you decide to do!

I wouldn't vote for you.  Something to consider is that any form of government is at least in part an infringement on our rights.  However without any government (total freedom) we would lack the organizational tools necessary to protect our borders, or build roads, or have fire trucks, etc.  In short, what I'm saying is thaat instead of looking at ideas and programs by the government a socialist look at them and guage whether the infingement on our rights is necessary for the protection of our freedoms as a whole.  Wire tapping would be a good example, it's no more socialist than sales tax but it's a matter of whether the loss of privacy is worth the safety gained from finding terrorists.  Breaking monopolies up is anti capitalist, but probably necessary to keep the free market growing and succeeding.

Oh yeah, and I pretty much disagree with everything you said, but if you can promise me a harem than I will vote for you and give you $3.27.

    Re: My Campaign Platform

The government's biggest problem is deficit spending which has caused a 13 trillion dollar debt whose interest payment makes up the 3rd largest item in the government budget.  We cannot keep spending over our income.

In political debates politicians should be required to finish answering the question rather than just stalling for time by thanking everyone.

The government should require TV/radio stations to provide a certain amount of air time for each candidates in every TV/radio market to get their message out.  This specified amount of time should be all the TV/radio advertising they should be allowed to do.  The problem is it costs way too much to buy Air time that politicians are required to be deeply indebted to people even before they get elected.

I think that there should be mandatory drug tests for all welfare/medicaid recipients. Plus they should be required to attend a vocational school to learn a skill while taking the government hand out.  Plus the handout should convert to be a loan 6 months after the person gets a job. All payments stop after one year of being unemployed.  Plus immediately before receiving your first check you should have to get fixed.  You shouldn’t be able to have more kids when you have to rely on another person’s money.  Money says “in god we trust” welfare food stamps should say “get a job you lazy bum”

Food stamps should only be able to buy Rice, Beans, bread, fruits, sugar, flour and veggies.

Any company who outsources jobs to other countries should be required to pay the difference in salary payroll from here/ to the outsourced country in domestic hiring on top of an additional tax.

The standard tax form with deductions takes approximately 24 hours to complete due to the fact that it is so long and confusing, no wonder people are forced to turn to tax preparation services. T think they should find the average amount paid for a specific amount of salary and then make people pay that much annually regardless. People with the same amount of annual income tend to have similar characteristics in the amount invested and how it is invested.  If they just made a flat rate per income bracket and removed all the time consuming deductions they wouldn’t need to hire auditors, lawyers, etc. at the IRS it would just come down to did you pay the flat rate, yes. Ok./no. pay up buddy. End of story no audits required.

Unemployment benefits should not last 99 weeks. It should be 6 months. Once again it should be a loan that payments will be made on 6 months after a new job is received.

The healthcare system is in shambles. I think we should get rid of HMO's. The problem is that people are investing in HMO's so healthcare costs soar due to the need to make profit.  Universal healthcare is an important issue and is doable but we need to redo the entire system.  The other thing is that DR's are required to have so much malpractice insurance that they have to raise their rates.

Insurance companies should not have investors, Just contributors. The whole point of insurance is to provide people with assurance that if disaster strikes they will have something to help get their life back.

I am tired of bailing out all these privately owned companies, especially when they were entirely in the wrong.  I think that we should have given the money to one of the banks that didn’t give these bad mortgages and let them buy out the failing banks that broke the rules.  This way we are not rewarding bad behavior.  The company who wrote the bad mortgage is just as responsible for the person’s inability to pay it as the person who got it. They have access to all their financial information they should be able to foresee this kind of problem.

Banks kick people out of their house immediately after nonpayment even when the case is that the person given the loan simply was laid off. I think that the person should be allowed to live there until a new buyer is found on the stipulation that they continue to maintain the house and if they are able to start to make payments again they can retain the ownership with little or no penalty.  We have so many houses sitting open which are not maintained thus hurting the resale value and leading to vandalism and lower property values of the neighboring properties.

There are way too many lawsuits in this country.  Lawyers bar licenses should be like liquor licenses. There would be only a set # and someone has to die before you can get one.

Presidential and congressional candidates should be required to wear jumpsuits with patches of all their campaign contributors like NASCAR drivers.

Every candidate should have to run independently. Too many times candidates just follow their party’s opinions and don’t stand up for what they believe in.  Plus having a party system it automatically divides congress into groups/parties.  Rather than working together they are working against each other.

The prison system should not have cable TV. They should be forced to do hard labor all day. I propose a gravel factory the old fashioned way.  We give them big rocks and they smash it with sledge hammers until they have small rocks.  That way they would be too tired to do anything else after 12 hours of smashing rocks.  I worked a jackhammer for a summer and when I got home I went to bed immediately after eating. All prisoners should be in solitary confinement. It gives them a chance to think about what they did.

I don’t understand people bitching, “I can’t find a job” there is plenty of work out there, the question is, are you willing to do the work that is required. For some reason illegal aliens from Mexico keep coming across the border is search of work, obviously these people whom most of which don’t speak fluent English manage to find work or they would stop coming to America. Americans are getting lazy and to content in the jobs they have to know how good we actually have it.

college students should not be taxed on the little amount of income that they make? They are in school to hopefully become more productive members of society, who will make more money in the future which the government will tax them on.  In order for a student to file they must take the immense amount of time to fill out the tax forms just to pay the government a few hundred dollars on the little money they made bussing tables, even though they have thousands of dollars of loans. It sounds to me as if joe college student has a negative net income if they make $10000 working over the summer and part time during the school year but every year has $30,000 worth of student loans.

Colleges should be required to provide the textbooks to students, that way they wouldn’t keep changing the textbook every year when the professor writes a new book and wants to sell a few hundred copies to poor college students.

Having now read your post, I am running for president on the anti-Laz platform:

    1.  Abolish the following government agencies:  everything except the army, navy and air force (yes, even the post office).

    2.  Redeploy the army, navy and air force exclusively within the borders of the 50 states.

    3.  Use savings from steps and 1 and 2 to repay national debt.

    4.  Once step 3 is finished, abolish all income taxes; pay for military with low tariffs/sales taxes.

    Watch Zeitgeist and Zeitgeist: Addendum
--> The Zeitgeist movies do an EXCELLENT job explaining the money system.  Here's an excerpt from Zeitgeist:

what is a central bank? A central bank is an institution that produces the currency of an entire nation. Based on historical precedent, two specific powers are inherent in central banking practice: the control of interest rates and the control of the money supply, or inflation. The central bank does not simply supply a government's economy with money, it loans it to them at interest. Then through the use of increasing and decreasing of supply of money the central bank regulates the value of the currency being issued. It is critical to understand that the entire structure of this system can only produce one thing in the long run: DEBT.

It doesn't take a lot of ingenuity to figure their scam now. For, every single dollar produced by the central bank is loaned at interest. That means every single dollar produced is actually the dollar plus a certain percent of debt based on that dollar. And since the central bank has the monopoly of the production of the currency for the entire country and they loan each dollar out with an immediate debt attached to it, where does the money that pay for the debt come from? It can only come from the central bank again.

--> And an excerpt from Zeitgeist: Addendum:

the last time in American history the national debt was completely paid off was in 1835, after President Andrew Jackson shutdown the Central Bank that preceded the Federal Reserve. In fact Jackson's entire political platform essentially revolved around his commitment to shut down the Central Bank, stating at one point: " the bold efforts the present bank has made to control the government are but premonitions of the fate that awaits the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it." Unfortunately his message was short lived, and the international bankers succeeded to install another central bank in 1913…The Federal Reserve. And as long as this institution exists, perpetual debt is guaranteed.

Now, so far we have discussed the reality that money is created out of debt, through loans.

These loans are based on a bank's "Reserves" and Reserves are derived from deposits. Through this fractional reserve system, any one deposit can create 9 times its original value, in turn debasing the existing money supply, raising prices in society.

And since all this money is created out of debt and circulated randomly through commerce, people become detached from their original debt and a disequilibrium exists where people are forced to compete for labor, in order to pull enough money out of the money supply to cover their costs of living.

As dysfunctional and backwards as all of this might seem… there is still one thing we have omitted from this equation… and it is this element of the structure which reveals the truly fraudulent nature of the system itself.

    -The application of Interest.

When the government borrows money from the Fed or when person borrows money from a bank, it almost always has to be paid back with accrued interest. In other words, almost every single dollar that exists must be eventually returned to a bank, with interest paid as well. But, if all money is borrowed from the central bank and is expanded by the commercial banks through loans, only what would be referred to as the 'principle' is being created in the money supply…. So then, where is the money to cover all of the interest that is charged?

Nowhere. It doesn't exist. The ramifications of this are staggering, for the amount of money owed back to the banks will always exceed the amount of money that is available in circulation.

    Re: My Campaign Platform

By the way, my platform would be built around a flat tax that would allow the government to abolish the IRS, social security, and medicare.

    Flat tax
With a flat tax, everyone including corporations pay the same flat rate amount.  By not letting corporations off the hook through loopholes and crummy enforcement, the government would make a boatload more money.  People would receive bigger paychecks because the income tax would also be a flat rate (15-20% vs. the 30-40% that's deducted now).  The money from the flat tax would then go towards paying the national debt, as well as funding important social initiatives, namely government housing, healthcare, and EDUCATION.

    Educational reform
I would push for educational reform and the abolishment of No Child Left Behind (NCLB), which is a con job with a catchy name.  Teachers shouldn't teach to standardized tests.  Being only 21 years old, I was the first generation to have to pass the MCAS in order to graduate.  We learned nothing my sophomore year of high school because of this and my essay writing is permanently ruined because it's confined to this format: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/How_to_Write_an_Essay/Five_Point_Essay
I think there must be a way to incentivize educators and schools in a better way than NCLB.  Tentatively, I think that if schools were rewarded on a combination of employment rate of its graduates and college graduation rates it would resolve teaching to the test by giving them incentive to instead provide a solid, well-rounded education.

    Abolish the Federal Reserve
The flat tax and the elimination of national debt would also allow the abolishment of the Federal Reserve, a collection of private banks that currently control the country and its economy (the recession is a money grab - they control how much money is in circulation and then they try to hoard most of it).  We would either go to a private money system or go back to the gold standard.  I haven't decided, but I do know that the private banks shouldn't be in power.

    Lobbyists
I don't know what to do about lobbyists, but I do think I should limit the number of lobbyists per company to less a number than the number of Congressmen.

    Immigration
I would build a wall and add land mines in unpopulated areas with appropriate warning.  In cities, I would man the wall.  I would eliminate the minimum wage for immigrant workers so we can still benefit from cheap labor and let the free market sort itself out.  I would allow any immigrant to come as long as they understand the time limit of their work visa and as long as they understand that there's no minimum wage for them.  Then the free market would sort itself out in terms of the number of immigrants.

    Drugs
I would legalize marijuana and regulate it similar to alcohol, with a minimum age limit and vehicle operation restrictions.  Between the tax revenue and the elimination of a large number of drug dealers, I think the benefits outweigh the lost productivity.  I'm still undecided about other drugs - the argument to legalize and regulate them is a little sketchier because people have never died from marijuana use but they have died from cocaine, heroine, ecstasy, et al.

    Environment
I would take over the energy industry.  Energy, in the modern age when everyone depends on technology, should be a fundamental right.  Furthermore, its availability shouldn't be so scarce.  I would focus on geothermal energy that would make America entirely independent from outside help for its electricity needs.  Tidal power, solar power, and wind power could supplement it.  With virtually unlimited energy, we would also become independent from oil for transportation.

I'm done at my desk job tonight.  I'll add more some other time.

Education:  I prefer NO EDUCATION (i.e., no federal involvement in education.  Let the states take care of it - or preferably not take care of it, since they are just as incompetent as D.C.).
Federal Reserve:  I prefer NO FEDERAL RESERVE (just trying to keep the joke going here).
Immigration:  I prefer UNLIMITED IMMIGRATION - come one, come all.
Drugs:  Let the people do whatever they want.

The reason it takes two spouses working outside the home for a lesser standard of living than in your grandparents era is solely because of a revenue hungry government that prefers having three paychecks to tax instead of one.  In other words instead of having just Dad's paycheck to tax, the government has Dad's, Mom's, and the hired caregiver's paycheck(s) to tax.

The reason living standards haven't kept pace is because A) the government inflates the currency (an invisible tax on savings). B) your employer gives you a 2% raise when inflation for that period has been 2.75%, C) By pushing women into the workforce, the supply of labor was doubled which exerted downward pressure on salaries and wages.  That wasn't enough so they let in 20 million illegal immigrants to further depress labor costs.

Another thing that depressed living standards was when JFK signed the executive order allowing public sector unions.  An unholy alliance between pols and these unions have increased wages and benefits to the point where these escalating costs are what is causing ever increasing taxes at the federal, state, and local levels.

Those higher standards of living were when we had more capitalism and less socialism, and yet you propose more socialism.  What does a 32 year-old know?

First of all , Where the Hellll is Jerry Springer in all of this? You cant run LAz unless you have Springer in your Group!  Now lets get down to business.
Once President you must form a select party of degenerates that can go and completely abolish the FED Bank Group that rule the actual world. That means kill them all!
Second, Abolish any and all Welfare, if you want to eat you then work! You want a house, you work. You want to have kids? you work! These types of programs worked well after WW1 and WW2.
