What "bait" is that exactly?  We have morons showcasing themselves daily (RKarp and Mt Hurl) on a lack of understaning Economics 101 and I am a troll now taking "the bait".

I thought trolls laid the bait?

THis thread is a joke.  All because BB walked from Welkie's demands of wanting more money.

TFB12 has started this.   The guy had a mental breakdown over a dwarf WR who chose more money to feed ego.

    Get over it, people.

You just swallowed it, hook, line, and sinker . . .Wink

Personally, I think it's all in good fun . . . I enjoy the back and forth . . . it's sort of like the argument guys on Monty Python . . .

    lol

So, the fact you used the word bait itself, means I took the bait?

    Oh my, dude, Please.

Look, I know LOW FBIQ blasted you on the Football Outsiders thread, and it's somewhat embarrassing you couldn't admit that, but that's ok. You're now using this thread to sort of regain some footing. Typical tactic once bludgeoned.

Your love for just watching our offense throw the ball a lot during games you attend is not something most diehard fans care about, though. That's great it's all you are entertained by, but some of us realize complementary football matters.

We care about offense, defense and STs.

No, no . . . I just tossed something out there that I knew would get a strike from you ...

But I'm more in a catch and release mood today, so I'm going to shake you off the hook and reel back in till later . . .

It's beyond back and forth, it's every post he makes.  It's like he thrives on conflict.  Almost to the point of him posting lies just to get people to disagree.  It's one giant troll job.  If he really, truely believes 100% the things he posts then he really is an ignorant, tow the company line fan.  When someone has to lie in order to try and validate his opinion, and can't admit to being wrong when proven so with factual documentation, and keeps his argument going despite being proven wrong, then there is no hope in getting into a good discussion with him.

I don't think you can take Rusty too seriously.  Sometimes he makes valid points, sometimes he's just spouting crappola.  But most of the time the substance of what he says isn't really the point . . . it's more like he's arguing just for the sake of arguing. If you're in the mood for that, no harm engaging him.  If you're not, just ignore him.  It's just like Monty Python . . .

    TFb12,

I know you have me on ignore, but you cannot deny there are like 3 or 4 times you basically acted like a 12 year old girl following me around like a troll, because I confronted you on your opinions.

Apparently, in these cases, you're incapable of being an adult and accepting logic and reason.

One was the Kaerpernick analysis.  I thought it was odd you got uptight at the time, but that's when you started with me.  I noticed after I had mentioned that I felt his style would eventually get him hurt or end up running out of gas (as it will with RG3), you went beserk and thought it would be impossible my opinion could exist on the QB who kisses his biceps after a TD.  His choke job at the 5 yard line soldified by take on him.

The second was the Adderrall thread where you called it a "masking agent" which is utterly false. It's not. So, you apparently were embarrassed that I corrected you for being wrong.  You then didn't see how lame the NFL rules on these drugs really are, ignoring the fact they don't test for HGH and put cocaine (also an upper) in a different category than Adderrall, on the same list as PEDs which is technically false since it's not a steroid. It might be a PED, but it also might not.  There is no proof it has equal effects on a human like steroids are proven to be on muscle tissues.   I explained why the have two different lists and you still didn't get it, just running around with Puritan guilt all up in arms that recent college grad in Pats unis  use Adderrall and how it's some PED. lol

And lastly, this Welker situation. This was the big one.  Hiroshima. Nagasaki and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest all wrapped into one for you.

Admittedly, I had no idea you and PatsEng had such a raging man lust for Wes Welker. I don't think anyone did.  It was bizarre. You two went from easygoing, rational fans to a whirlwind firestorm of threads, moping about Welker on a daily basis for about 2 weeks straight. Many came into threads to tell you both to get over it, and you kept on and on.

So, for about a month now, this board has had to deal with a mental break down from you over the loss of Wes Welker.

As I have said repeatedly, you seem like a good person and your photoshopping stuff is hilarious. I would just stick to that and maybe learn from others in the other threads instead of bypassing knowledge and/or exploding because what you tought to be true right, was actually false or wrong.

Dude, I think he has you on ignore.

I don't argue just to argue. Go look at the Alan Branch thread "Somethign the Board Overlooked" thread, for example.

Literally, 3 people, 2 of them the typical morons (RKrap and Mt Hurl) on economics and cap management completely ignored the reality of why the market is different in 2011 than what it is now, didn't read or want to understand why.

    THey want to believe 2+2 = 5 and I am the problem when I know 2+2 = 4?

It's fine to disagree, but those two (with Pats Lifer pulling the up the rear), either don't get it, don't want to get it and enjoy being ignorant bufoons or are trolls, which we know RKrap and Mt Hurl effectively are.  They just come in with "BB is a big meanie, Kraft is cheap, etc".  Handwringing, sky is falling type commentary as a way to take the anti-BB media bait and spam the board, effectively ruining it for the fans.

These threads should end when any person comes in a makes a strong post. But, they don't.

It's a way for the person who appears to have not done their homework to deflect and spam their way out of it.

So in a free agency period where everyone has mounds a salary cap space, it's too rich to spend 3 million dollars on a quality defensive lineman? God you crack me up! We are not talking about the difference of paying a guy in 1985, 3 million, and a guy from today three million...we are talking about two years ago us paying 4 million for a washed up, ineffective, do nothing Shaun Ellis for 4 million and Buffalo paying 3 million for a guy in his prime. Sorry, but when the league salary cap space average is 9.9 million four weeks AFTER free agency began, spending 3 million on a quality, young defensive tackle is not too rich. What did they/could they of overpaid in terms of money? Five hundred grand? Nothing? Three million? No one knows, and what the hell does Buffalo care? They have cap space...lots.

Hey, how did the league salary cap average become so high when everyone was supposed to be in salary cap hell?

Woah!!! This one was hard to miss, I guess it's hard to just skim by these quoted comments of his when it is almost a complete page, lol!!

This is exactly why this guy can not be taken serious and why I have such a problem with him.  AGAIN more lies!!!

I never said anything about adderall being a "masking agent"!!  I quoted many real sources addressing adderall as a performance enhancing drug.  A poster, probably Rusty, said that adderall wasn't a performance enhancing drug when in fact many, many experts say that yes, adderrall is a performance enhancing drug.  The Olympics consider adderrall "performance enhancing".  Athletic commissions consider it "performance enhancing".  The head of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, one of the biggest, most respected Athletic Commissions in the country is on record saying adderrall is a "performance enhancing" drug after they banned a MMA fighter for testing him positive.

There are so many references on the web that support adderrall as a "performance enhancing" drug.  THe reasoning is...

    *********

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told CBSNews.com that the league regards Adderall as a "game-day performance enhancer." But can the stimulant actually give a player a tangible edge on the field?

Yes, according to experts. Adderall essentially "makes you more aware and more attentive," says Andrew Spanswick, an addiction specialist who has helped rehabilitate professional athletes with Adderall addiction at his Los Angeles treatment center.

"It makes you feel more calm and more alert and makes things go slower, which is perfect for an NFL player," said Spanswick, who added that Adderall could theoretically give NFL defenders a split second jump on the ball.

Dr. Eric Morse, a Raleigh, N.C., sports psychiatrist, said stimulants like Adderall can even reduce pain sensation. "You're more likely to push through an injury or bump or bruise," he said.

Adderall won't make you smarter but it will keep you working longer with a heightened sense of concentration. When one considers NFL players must absorb tomes of information on a weekly basis - all while recovering from a physical beating from the previous game - it is perhaps no surprise that players would turn to Adderall for an edge. At least 10 players - most of them defenders - have publicly admitted to using the drug since the beginning of last season.

    *******

That was my take on the subject since post #1 of the topic.  There was nothing I posted that stated as my opinion that adderrall was a "masking agent".   So once again your are 100% wrong.  More lies from Rusty! More lies to make him look better or right or whatever he is trying to do here.  Once again I catch you in a complete lie!!   Once again I prove that you try to manipulate people into thinking you are right and someone is wrong.  You are a fraud! This is just another proven example of it!

I am not even saying Ellis wasn't overpaid for what he brought. Go read that entire post of mine that you failed to read.

The reason why you didn't iss becuase it exposes your shortsighted take on this whole thing, meaning you lost.

As for us, in a loaded DT draft, and a bloated DT market currently, yes, 3 million is too much for Branch which is why Jax, NE and Minny let Buffalo take him.

Not hard to understand for those who are educated. In essence, we could afford to take on salary off the lockout due to our 2010 and 2011 GREAT overall draft yield, and because we didn''t overspend on an unknown market past 2010 and 2011.  Plus, Ellis wanted a ring. BB overpaying him a bit didn't affect our budget, cap management or playing in the SB waiting for our stars like Brady at 20 million to put a FG on the board in the 4th qtr. lol

Branch took the most money he could get and then tried to sell the public a bag of dung by saying "the lure of playing with the two Williams and Dareus was too enticing".

Please.  His QB is now Kolb or Tavaris Jackson Miami is in better position, with the Pats absolutely loaded in upcoming years. PLus, they have a cheap hack college coach who will be completely overwhelmed. They won't even sniff a wild card his whole time there.

By the way, since when did Alan Branch become someone you and RKArp like that much anyway? Very suspicious that you both all of a sudden love his play. Very suspicious. lol

Just like when you say Ellis didn't affect our budget on a two year 8 million dollar deal, Branch won't affect their budget one a one year, 3 million dollar deal.

Im not claiming to be a Branch fan - although his age, size, and quickness intrigues me - it's more about the fact that this is a move that can't hurt Buffalo and may of helped us as well. If we indeed were interested in him (like reports say) and signed him for the same contract, you'd be running around here telling everyone the warnings were out people!! But instead you run around saying how they overpaid. We pay our damn kicker more than that.
