    Socci broadcasts for the Norfolk Tides (AAA baseball team for Orioles in Norfolk, VA). I am not a big fan of his baseball broadcasts---he purposely elongates words and is very melancholy. As a baseball announcer I find him boring. Now, I love baseball but it is kind of boring to start off with--so, he could be better at football. I know he has done Navy games for awhile. He does come across as a very likeable person---like you wouldn't mind hanging out w/him talking sports. It is going to be tough for him--it is always the most difficult being the guy to replace "the guy". You always want to be the guy who replaces the guy who replaced "the guy"---you don't have as much to live up to. Good luck to him.
