03/18/09 - Toledo Pro day: Two team representatives were there and both were from nearby Cleveland and Cincinnati to watch four players work out on March 12. The most notable prospect, Nick Moore (younger brother of Saints WR Lance Moore), was present, but chose not to participate. He was measured (6-2 1/8, 198 pounds), but decided to do his drills at Ohio State’s pro day. These are his numbers from Ohio State, which was run indoors on FieldTurf. He ran a 4.53 and 4.56 in the 40, had a 35-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot, 10-inch broad jump, a 4.18 short shuttle and a 6.91 three-cone drill. – Gil Brandt,
02/15/09 - PRO POTENTIAL: WR Nick Moore -- The sudden emergence of his brother and former UT standout, Lance Moore, can only help his draft status. He ended his UT career fourth all-time in receptions with 182 and fifth in receiving yardage with 2,045.

Moore, a 6-4, 193 pound wide receiver, caught 78 passes for 779 yards and one touchdown this past season for Toledo. He also was 2 for 2 passing the ball on trick plays, completing those two passes for 55 yards and a touchdown and returned 12 punts for 74 total yards this year. Nick caught 182 passes in his career at Toledo, and had 13 receiving touchdowns. The Texas vs the Nation All-Star game is on Saturday, January 31st at 11:00am ET. The game will be played at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas and will be aired on CSTV. Re: Nick Moore??? who/how is this guy?

Whether is he or another WR, I hope we find a gem so we don't have to go into the offseason with that need and can focus on the D side.
