Not saying this is to be trusted, but according to Curran....

The Pats were most interested in Sheldon Richardson (taken by Jets), Justin Hunter, and Robert Woods.

May still have a chance at Woods who I really like but I doubt it

Richardson I doubt would have made it back to them anyways so not sure he was really an option. Hunter and Woods though were considered 2nd round talents so that makes sense. I'd love to see their draft board honestly. Would love to see how they value certain picks and if they had a fairly good valued player at #29 that might not be there at #52 and they rather have 2 players valued less because 2 is better then 1 logic, which isn't always true as I'd much rather have 1 roll of double ply then 2 rolls of single ply recycled paper to wipe with

Nobody knows what is on the big board in the Patriot's war room... nobody, so anything stated as such is pure speculation.  I don't believe for a second they were interested in Sheldon Richardson until the 3rd round at least...

Just passing along info...Richardson does seem a bit iffy, but who knows....

I think the comment was that the Pats were interested in Richardson at 29.

Well after he plays for a few years with the Jets the Pats can sign him when he reaches 29 . . . Bill likes seasoned players!

I was hoping for Richardson at 29. Vinces eventual replacement. Will be a beast beside Wilkerson in a 4/3 for years.

I think they go Kelce and OL and come out with 4 players in the rotation every Sunday.

Did you just compare a guy that doesn't crack 300 to Vince who is probably playing closer to 350 now?  They are nowhere near the same kind of player.
