Stewart- I agree Chad/Ocho should get his opportunity to tell his story. I think the 911 tapes will be released soon. He will have the opportunity to go before a judge snd the evidence will be presented. It's unlear to me if his wife is movig forward with pressig charges.
He already lost his spot with the Dolphins.
The other incident of his domestic violence isn't alleged- it happened and is a matter of court record. Not a made up incident. He did have to enroll in anger managment program.
I find your claims of false allegation by women against men for domestic violence bogus. The stats and facts don't bear that out- at all. Yes, I'm sure there is the occasional false alleagation- like everything else.
In most situations the reality is much more bleak. Women are subjected to abuse and violence by their spouses/partners with a much higher incidence and a much higher rate of death. Most murders are commited by men that women know. Most women are killed/murdered in so called domestic violence incidents.
Google domestic violence statistics. It's sobering.
Domestic violence crosses all soci-economic boundaries. Normally it takes many incidents of domestic violence for a woman to leave. The fear factor and intimadation are enormous.
Your claims that law enforecment favor women is also not true. If a woman makes a false claim she can be prosecuted. It has taken many many years for training and support of law enforcement to respond to domestic violence. It can be a very volatile sitation for all involved.
Question- how many murders, and murder suicides are commited by men involving their wifes, ex wives, girlfriends, and god forbid children?
And how many murders are commited by women against their husbands, boyfriends, exes, etc?
What is more than obvious to me reading the posts on this thread, is there still is a whole lot of education to be done.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Ocho Cinco arrested : I totally agree with TFB12. If it turns out Chad did it -then shame on him and he deserves to lose his job. But what if his wife head really did head butt him and she made the story up becasue she was peeved at him for cheating? Despite the other alledged incident reported in the Miami paper - the guy deserves his day in court before people implicate him. If people only knew how many instances there are of false accusations made against men by women - you would not so fast to implicate him until all the facts have been reported TFB12 is right when he says women have a big advantage in these matters. All a woman needs to do today is make an accusation of assault (true or not) and the man is arrested - his life is turned upside down - he spends huge dollars to defend himself - his reputation is destroyed - he is humiliated in the town that he lives in and probably loses his job. Now suppose it turns out he didn't do it - dont you think he deserves the chance to defend himself ?
