Tinman: Every Cowboy has a horse with a name. What was the name of his horse?

    Gene Autry = Champion

    Roy Rogers = Trigger

Lone Ranger = Silver (was LR a cowboy?)

    Hopalong Cassidy = ? whoops

    Happy Trails to Rex

    Re: Off Topic: Happy Trails

    Rex was 84.
I couldn't remember the name of his horse, and had to look it up ("Goldrush" according to Wikipedia).

42and46--Rex was probably more well-known in New England, and to those of us 45+ yrs old.  He was the host of "Boomtown", a kids show, for nearly 20 yrs, and it seems like everyone in the age group I mentioned either was on the show or knows someone that was.  Rex was a really well-liked guy, owned a tv production company near Boston and taught at Emerson College.  Until just a couple years ago, he regularly rode in my town's annual July 4th parade.
