Offense Not Quite Invincible, Secondary Still Achilles Heel

Pretty disappointed. Seemed like the Patriots were in control of the game, and then, boom - back to the old ways. Offense couldn't make first downs, and Defense; especially the secondary - simply failed the team.
No killer instinct on either side of the ball.
KansasPatriot - the undefeated rest of the season didn't last very long.

Watched it in a bar. What the heck was Ebner doing on the field on the TD pass. Brady was awful in the second half and Belichek continues to make some weird strategic decisiones.

This offense is as unclutch as they get when they have a one possession lead (8 points or less) and under 4 minutes on the clock.

What secondary? They either get flagged for interference, or give up 50 yard completions. They have almost as many holes as the Red Sox have to fill. $27 million dollars to Brady per year doesn't leave a lot to buy a shut down corner.
They should have beaten the Ravens, Gostkowski misses a chip shot for him, and today they just gave the game away that they had in their grasp. Very poor coaching decisions and poor execution by everybody in the fourth quarter. They look very suspect to put it mildly. 10-6 team at best.

Belichick is a crappy talent evaluator when it comes to CB's and Safeties. Had he paid Asante Samuel , we wouldnt be discussing this right now. The Texans went and signed Jonathan Joseph and went from being the worst defense to the best in the league. Belichick is arrogant and thinks he can put anyone out there and win thanks to Brady!

The Texans also have WAde Phillips. He may not be much of a head coach but his defenses always improve (usually in one year also).

I actually blame the coaches more than the players...lol
