    [/QUOTE]

How do you break an arm on an extra point? Or maybe better question, why play Gronk on an extra point?

This is a heck of a price to pay for 1 point.

I'd say 4-6 weeks, which will give him a chance to come back before the playoffs possibly. Hey at least it's not his legs.

I don't have a problem with scoring more points, or so-called "running up the score".

But why put Gronk in as meaningless play as an extra point? Isn't that job for Uh-oh-manawanui? Seems like a lapse in judgement there.

No big deal.  Next man up.  He'll be fine and rested for the playoffs, unlike last year.

Well that really sucks. 7-3 now. 4-6 weeks. He's done or the regular season. And he got hurt on an extra point play? Damn damn damn

On a somewhat (injury) related note, does anyone have any insight on Chandler Jones? His injury didnt't look terrible, but he didn't play after. We can't afford to lose Jones and Gronk in one game. That would just be cruel.

so this injury basically means gronk and hernandez would have been on the field together a total of THREE games this season.

How did he break it on special teams? They barely rush the kicker on extra points, let alone in a blowout game.

Just how do you break your arm on the extra point in a 59-24 game? Only in Boston. Unbelievable.

Relax people, remember this offense will always roll as long as #12 is out there...

Gronk is great, is huge... but this year we have a running game, and backups...

this could be for the best, not that i wouldn't love to have gronk here for the whole season, but it will get brady to diversify his targets and possibly get used to Shiancoe and fells.  I really liked how endelman was used so much this weekend and Lloyd seems to be getting the system.  Would love to see salas play more too.  Losing gronk hurts though.

    Re: Oh my god..... Gronk..

Tough break for the offense which was hitting its stride.  Gronk may be the most important player other than Brady. He's made some huge plays, keeping drives alive with clutch 3rd down catches. He's also their best red zone reciever. Having Hernandez back will help but hes not Gronk. Maybe Fells or Shiancoe step up. The positive is that he should be healthy for the playoffs.
