Who said it had to be someone from the secondary?  Make it a late hit if you have to.  He just needs to be put in his place because he's a one year wonder and a punk.

How would you feel if opposing players use that strategy against Brady or Welker?

Posted by CommChairman[/QUOTE]...what do you think he/she would say?? He's an idiot who looks to injure a player who had a good game against his team. Of course if it was TB or WW the outrage would be heard clear across the country as his hypocritical whining would echo far and wide.

people like you have a name, it's called criminal. When guys play ball they could do some really stupid things, which is very common today. It's like 3D bling. Get over it, you sound like an old angry fool.

Pats' secondary don't have anyone big enough to lay him out hard. Lilliputians back there.

Nothing like an overreaction on BOTH ends.

Let him be. He's a clown, has always been a clown, will always be a clown. Good move taking that taunting penalty, and NEARLY getting another one. He's an idiot, let him dance like one, and have his 15 drops at the end of the season. He has no heart, has always been more interested in being a celebrity that a good football player...unfortunately for him, nobody told him you have to actually perform to be a celebrity. The new "Boz".

And to the people about TB or WW...ummm, neither would act as classlessly as that underachiever Edwards. He brings that type of feeling on himself by acting like such a d o u c h e b a g (f u c k y o u bdc). There's a short list of players I wouldn't feel bad to see laid out on the field, and he's been on it longer than his time on the Jets.

I'd have been happy to see someone nail him in the endzone and start a brawl. I have NO tolerance for that type of on-field immaturity. How old is he? 15? What a clown. Yeah for you Braylon, you've got the brains of a child.

By the way, what have you ever done?

    Ring?

    Most catches in a season?

    Yards?

    Anything?

    ROY?

    OffPOY?

Oh, none of that? That's right, you never achieved your potential. Not even close. Such a shame to see physical gifts wasted on a loser. Imagine if Welker had that physical set? Oh my...

ummm it did actually happen to welker against the jets.. he like forearm chopped welker right in the head not even goin for the ball.  it was from the same guy who knocked out boldin last year.  Youre def right someone should have hit braylon in the jaw.. chung meriweather or mcCourty should have seriously decked him.  I know harrison would have for that cheap shot on welker.  Defense gotta start gettin mad.  Thats how are superbowl defenses used to  play

How about we simply play good football and beat them with play calling and teamwork.  The last thing we need to do is resort to cheap shots and bullying.  We're better than taht.

yah in regards to him saying it should be a cheap shot.. but the pats def gotta lay this guy out and start playing some damn smash mouth football..  no one wants to actually lay a guy out on a hit anymore.  chung looks like the only one who were gonna get it out of

Darius Butler is clearly just immature for the position and is still a backup because there's no way he's starting over Bodden.  The way Edwards acted yesterday was a joke and as a fan I would love nothing more to see one of the Patriots lay him out hard... and I mean, HARD.  He's a straight up punk that has had one good year and several crappy years to date.  If the way he acted yesterday doesn't make the Patriots draw a target on his back, I don't know what does.

Smack talking is one thing, dancing and celebrating is one thing, the way Edwards acted yesterday was embarassing and pathetic.  Pats should lay him out and put him back in his place, which is a mediocre WR in this league.

Braylon Edwards is a punk but the Patriots aren't cheap shot artists who go out to intentionally hurt other players.  Leave that to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
