In Response to Re: Packers - Giants game thread : Looked close, but good by a hair.  I just watched the 3rd down again - still think he made it, but I wouldn't bet a red cent on it.  Since Caughlin didn't even argue, you're probably right.

I never reviewed the FG.  Thanks for checking.

    Don't like the Pack's momentum.

*shakes head*.  Packers look like the Colts after taking a few weeks off.
I looked at it four times.  He was short by a foot.  I don't want the Packers to win, and I agree the officials have been favoring the Pack, but that was not a first down and Coughlin wisely held his flag.

off topic of this game, but funny how last week when the Saints came up short a couple times they gave them the 1st down

I thought if a QB got slapped in the helmet by a defender that it was a penalty, am I wrong?

Man, Eli's playing really well - and smart taking that sack, nobody was open and still got a FG.

I depends on the situation, like which teams are playing, how the call will affect potential TV ratings, etc.

    Why do you ask?

Posted by kansaspatriot
I'm all for that provided the Patriots can get revenge. If they lose again we will never hear the end of it. Meanwhile, fumble return. Game ovah. Discount double check is going home, Niners with a home game next week. My two favorite teams have home games for the championship.
