Patriot Draft Contest - Bragging Rights

From MB's draft thread, idea was raised to have a contest -

Many of us love this time of year - let's see who can pick the most future Pats....

Each person selects 10 names - person with the most correct wins 2014 Draft Prognosticator Award...

I would think to be fair, we need picks before draft begins as trades up top could change your selection

Any other thoughts on how we should do this?

Great idea, will be fun to go back and read later on how close some people are. My first prediction is my picks will probably not be in the running.

good idea, maybe to help with a tie-breaker?? - have everyone put the Round and Pick # beside who they think the Pats will select....

Just in case you have 7 entries which have 4 hits on them each....how would you break this tie....

Noise, good call out on the tie-breaker. In case of tie, the person whose selections are earlier or later should win - you could argue earlier is more skill, later is more luck?

    Thoughts?

I'd argue later is more skill as most of the early names are already known commodities.

with @ 24 hrs till the draft not much will change, so I see my final picks as:

    29) Rashede Hageman DT  With the addition of Armstead who both can play DT/DE will solidify the DL

    62) Weston Richburg C  With Cannon moving to G, this pick solidifies the OL...Connelly and Wendell now cap cuts...

    93) A J McCarron QB     Will be to appealing to pass up, good back up

    130) Christian Jones OLB/ILB     Failing the drug test will drop him down a bit

    140) Craig Loston SS

    198) Jake Murphy TE

    206) Cornelius Lucas OT

    244) David Fluellen

Picks 1 and 2 start this year....

Pick 3 long term back up with 1 yr to learn behind Mallot...

Pick 4 first man up behind the three starters....Plays both ILB and OLB

Picks 140,198,206,and 244     Developmental back ups in areas of need....

Two other possibilities are Dee Ford DE/OLB and Xavier Su'aFilo OG
