Safely entrnched in Phoenix. It's a dry heat, and you can keep the hurricanes. I'd much rather be golfing in January. LOL!

Going back to when they first playd at BU, I sure do remember quite a few "stinkers". With a few exceptions, there always seeme to be another team that was worse off.

I've been on vacation in Aruba, Tahiti, Fiji, and the Caribbean, found bars with satellite TV, and got Pats games to be put on. The best was explaining to the French inTahiti that this was REAL "football".

In Response to Re: Patriot Fans from far away. : oh yes i agree, its great to see that Patriots Nation is so spread out even across the pond. One of the thing i always miss most about NE is lighthouses. Can anyone except HRK guess where this one is: HRK recommended this beach to me and I was fully satisfied

Hmm... I know I've seen it before, maybe Nauset light on the Cape?

In Response to Re: Patriot Fans from far away. : That's the Nauset Light. It's on the Cape Cod chips bag and  (if you are old enough to remember) the Cape Cod bucket.

Awesome, you're right. Went to that beach last summer, one of the best in new england.

LOL, what a coincidence, just bought two bags of those chips today, sweet mesquite bbq and five cheese. question is if the chips are made in Hyannis, why do they use the Nauset Light on the bag?

Also attended a Jets / Boston Patriots exhibition game at Forman Field Norfolk, VA summer of 1966. It was very hot and there was no air conditioning in the locker room. At half time the players just stood outside the locker room adjacent to the field and I was able to walk around that area and speak to the players.

    Reply to KSPatriot fan,

Actually I am not a NASCAR fan but I live a couple of miles from the Daytona track and can hear the roar of the engines. I of course live very close to the beach, reminds a little of the good ole days in Salisbury and Hampton Beach

When I was a kid they still had all of the cannons there and none of the tunnels were barred off.
