Funny, sometimes it seems that half the roster were Rutgers players.

I know - there are at least two Miami players on the team (Wilfork and Forston), I imagine there is one more as well. As for the rest of the list, it probably doesn't list the players/schools where we have only one player from that school.

I posted the link at the bottom of the list. http://www.patriots.com/team/roster.html

I only listed the schools with more than one player. I missed the Miami players because patriots.com had Wilfork Miami (Fla.) and Forston Miami.

Anyone know anything about the Notre Dame OLB Darius Fleming? I heard he's having a good camp.

OK.   So, just for fun I took Digger's list and cut it down to only those players who are listed with the dreaded number-letter combination.  Without knowing the history of how many such players have made a 53-man roster in the past, how many of The Sweet 16 will make this year's 53-man roster?   Practice Squad doesn't count.

    I say 3:  D.J. Williams, Cameron Fleming, Ja'Gared Davis
