    Not sure they'd go after a w/r in rd 1.  Unless they've got someone they really like in rd 1 I think they'll move down.  I'm also thinking that they're more interested in a DT more highly rated than Quarles.  Like your 3rd round pick.

    I hear you brotha.. I think after resigning Vince and Siliga / Jones the need dropped a little bit on my draft board I think that Trent Murphy can get to the QB.

    Round 1 - Kelvin Benjamin - WR Florida State

    I don't think WR is where the Pats go here.  Not a high need area.

    Round 2 - Trent Murphy - DE Stanford

    A need but a high 2nd rounder as I see it.

    Round 3 - C.J Fiedeorowicz - TE Iowa State

    This one has high possibilities and is on my list too.

    Round 4 - Seantrel Henderson - OT Miami

    I looked this guy up earlier during the year.  I don't know if I would spend a 4th on him.  A very questionable work ethic.  Tons of talent.  I'd use the 6th on him and he'll probably be there.  Falling stock.  Is he a BB kinda guy?

    Round 4 - Kelcy Quarles - DT South Carolina

    Another one that I feel will be gone.

    Round 6 - Connor Shaw - QB South Carolina

    Hate the thought of going after a QB with the needs this team has.  If the Brady clock is on your mind the Pats need to draft the guys in the trenches.  Now watch them draft the guy!

    Round 7 - Jerick McKinnon - RB Georgia Southern

    The Pats do need another one.  I've got mixed feelings about which style to go.  A smallish back would be different from what they have.  Different looks are big.

    If we trade mallet for a second I put Deone Buchannon for that pick, if it's a third then id take the best available DL

    Not bad, I agree with ATJ don't think they'd go WR 1st round but Benjamin would be the guy if they chose to go that route for sure.

    Also not sure I like waiting till the 4th for a DT and Quarles I'm a bit iffy about because of his issues against the run. He seems like a slight upgrade to Jones but was hoping for more of a full time starter type

    I think based on the direction they went in free agency I would guess  interior o-line or inerior D- line would be the call at 29 if the guy they want is still there. Although if a guy like Ealy is available he would be an ideal addition to the DE rotation.

         Hey Cody. Posted this previously on my mock draft thread:

    Round 1 - Kelvin Benjamin - WR Florida State

    RESPONSE: With pressing needs for a pass-rusher, as well as on the DL and OL, taking a WR at #29 would be a mistake. Though Benjamin has terrific size, it has been demonstated that championships can be won without a stud WR: http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com/content/moss-shocker-chff-shiny-hood-ornament-theory/7577/

    Round 2 - Trent Murphy - DE Stanford

    RESPONSE: I really like this kid. But, I doubt that he'll still be available by pick #62. He's 6'6", and weighs around 265. He's a bit of a tweener, in that he's probably not fast enough to drop into coverage as an OLB. But, add some weight-room muscle on this country strong kid, and you may have something as a 4-3 DE.

    Round 3 - C.J Fiedeorowicz - TE Iowa State

    RESPONSE: Seemingly everybody has the Pats taking this kid in round three...which is one of the reasons why I doubt that it will happen. I'd rather see the Pats grab a lineman, SS, RB, or WR here. Just please BB, don't take another SS that is projected to be either a late round pick or an undrafted free agent, by your own Pats scouting department.

    Round 4 - Seantrel Henderson - OT Miami

    RESPONSE: Take the best player available at a position of need...or perhaps a QB here;

    Round 4 - Kelcy Quarles - DT South Carolina

    RESPONSE: Take the best player available at a position of need...or perhaps a QB here;

    Round 6 - Connor Shaw - QB South Carolina

    RESPONSE: I'd be leery about taking a Steve Spurrier trained QB.

    Round 7 - Jerick McKinnon - RB Georgia Southern

    RESPONSE: Take the best player available at a position of need...or perhaps a QB here;

    Forgot one thing no chance McKinnon makes it to the 7th. After his combine and a great senior bowl expect him to take a Cobb type of jump. I'm expecting him to be gone by mid 5th at latest but I could see him going as high as early 3rd.

    From what I've seen Quarles is a solid 3rd rounder so I'd be surprised if he lasted that long.   A nice player with all the physical attributes.  Some questions as to how much attention Clowney took making him look better than he is so he may drop just on that alone.  He needs to be coached up some.  I could see how he would drop some but I believe he would still be out of reach for the Pats first 4th rounder.

    I have to give kudos to those of you who research and track this "mock draft" stuff. I can just imagine how much you are on-line to even come up with some lucid thoughts.  It is such a roll of the dice to see just who the Pats wind up drafting.  These are always such interesting wish lists.

    There might be 5 guys who if available at 29 they won't pass on. Benjamin is one of them,but chances are he will be taken in the early 20's. Mosley and Pryor are on the list as well.

    WR is not a need at all in my view.

    Rd. 1: Best available pass rusher

    Rd. 2: B/A TE or S

    Rd. 3: B/A S or TE

    After that, give me two interior OL, an RB, a project QB and a DT in no particular order.

    I suspect they end up with additional picks so they may take a WR, but if not no big deal. I'm sure they'll bring in a UDFA or two for camp.

    I like Benjamin as much as everyone, but I am looking harder everyday at MB's kid, Attaochu.

    PI think this kid has some serious skills and can serve as both a great pass rusher from the end, a 3-4 olb or 4-3 olb. I like this kid especially when you add him to our other 3 backers.

    Draft urban in the 3rd, you have the makings of a good 3 man line with Kelly/urban/armstead as ends, vw/siliga at nt, and 4 incredibly athletic lbs. with an improved secondary, I can imagine bb turning Collins and Attaochu loose.

    Anyhow,

    1. Attaochu

    2. Trade down (3 and 5)

    3A. Fedierowicz

    3b. urban

    Still working out the rest....
