The soft zones the Pats throw out there are horrible, unless you want a DB to lead the team in tackles. Brady will have to snap out of it to win this game.

run the ball!!! pitt d is living off reputation from previous years. the two teams that beat them pushed the ball down their throats.

Posted by Evil2012[/ We are playing a #1 ranked defense today, the defense never does anything. Dude 3rd and long after 3rd and long. They can't get off the field. This could be the worst display of defense I've ever seen.

Bull. It's a #1 defense against sub .500 teams. Or are you saying our offense is no better than Seattle or the Titans?

Tough to turn around a D that has been this horrible all year.  I don't think you can pick up any new players at half time to replace the ones that just spent most of the first half chasing our receivers.  Good luck.  Who's gonna get cut this week?

We need to score coming out of the half - even if it's just a FG.  Our D, sans Steelers' offensive mistakes, ain't stopping nothin'.  Perhaps we can screen a couple of times, run the ball, then open things up down field.  Steelers' D taking away anything deep - so we'll need to "dink and dunk" them to death.  Lets go Pats!

I agree - I didn't see his knee or forearm hit the ground - why wasn't the ball spotted where he slammed it on the ground?

Last thing we needed (three and out) is the first thing we did.  If the D gives up any kind of score on this drive, this game may very well be over.  We absolutely had to do something coming out of the half - and of course - nada!  If we only had a week to prepare, I wouldn't be so pi$$ed, but our effort after a bye week has been dreadful.
